Weather: Dry and sunny May bank holiday

After any early morning mist clears, today will be dry with good sunny spells. Highest temperatures will range from 16 or 17 degrees inland with light to moderate easterly breezes freshening this afternoon.
Met Éireann says tonight will be dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees, with moderate easterly breezes.
The national weather forecaster says that tomorrow (Tuesday) will continue dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees in the east to 16 or 17 degrees in the west with fresh east to southeast breezes.
Tuesday night is promised dry in most areas. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with moderate east to southeast breezes.

The outlook for Wednesday, showery rain in the south will extend further north but north Leinster and Ulster will stay mainly dry. Highest temperature of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate east to southeast breezes. On Wednesday night, rain will extend to the east and north.

Thursday will start off cloudy in the east with rain. This will clear to the east. The afternoon will bring a mix of sunshine and showers to all areas. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate southerly breezes.

Friday will bring sunshine and showers. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with light variable breezes.

Current indications indicate that there'll be sunshine and showers on Saturday and Sunday next, but that it will become noticeably cooler on Sunday as moderate winds become northerly in direction.
