Alec Adcock

Killcrossbeg, Shercock, Cavan

Peacefully, at home, in the loving care of his family.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Joan, sons Mark and Matthew, daughter Shirley, daughter-in-law Helana, son-in-law Chris, grandchildren Joseph, Christopher, Shelly, Lauren and Abbie, sister, Barbara, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Due to HSE restrictions, Alec's Funeral will be private to family only.

The funeral cortège will leave Killcrossbeg at 12.30pm on Monday to arrive for burial at 1pm in St Patrick's Cemetery, Shercock. The family would like to thank Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care and the local nurse for the wonderful care and attention given to Alec.

Brother of Betty, Donal, Dominic, Kathleen, Benny and Michael, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

St Claire Court, Cavan Town, Cavan / Blanchardstown, Dublin

Darren Wright, late of Mountview, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, who died at Cavan General Hospital.

Sadly missed by his loving father Edward, sons Karl and Nathan (Trim), brothers Eddie, Paul, and David, sister Donna (Shannow Ballinagh), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, friends and all those who loved him.

19th June 2020, in his 93rd year. (Collins Park, Dublin and formerly of Aughavas, Co Leitrim). Peacefully, surrounded by his family in the care of Beaumont Hospital following a short illness.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, children Helen, Peter, Michael, Siobhan, Sinead, and Brian, daughters-in-law Sheila and Amanda, sons-in-law Eamon, Gifford, and David, grandchildren Amanda, Alan, Mhairead, Maighdlin, Aoibhe, Ben, great-grandchildren Sophie and Jamie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Ughtyneill, Moynalty, Co. Meath and Charlestown House, Ardee, Co. Louth. 19th June 2020. Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda in the presence of Sheila, his wife of 51 years and daughter Eilís.

Sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sister Sr Teresa, SSL, (California) brother Enda, (Spain), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, friends and members of Cairde Rince Céilí na hÉireann throughout Ireland.

Tom's funeral cortege will arrive at St Patrick's Hall, Ughtyneill on Monday 22nd June at approximately 2p.m., and proceed for private funeral Mass (due to COVID-19 restrictions) in the Church of the Assumption, Moynalty at 2.30 p.m. followed by burial in St Mary's Cemetery, Moynalty. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed on Meathtv.com

Phyllis Kenny (née McCaul)

Bray, Wicklow / Monaghan

Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Cremartin, Co. Monaghan, passed away peacefully on 20th June, 2020, in her 95th year, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by her husband James and cherished daughter Aiveen. Sadly missed by her children Tom, John, Jim and Mairead, sister-in-law Norrie, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A private Funeral Mass will take place in St Peter’s Church, Little Bray, at 10.00am on Tuesday (23rd June).

Assumpta Plunkett

Castletown Kilpatrick, Meath / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

Peacefully, after a long courageous battle with illness, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family.

Will be dearly missed by her loving sister, Marie Smith, brothers, Gerry, Brendan, Ollie, and Vinny, goddaughter and niece Fiona Mullen, nephews Nigel and Francis, grandaunt to Lexi, Rosie, Susie, and Clara. Pre-deceased by her father, Thomas Plunkett, mother, Nellie Plunkett, brother-in-law, Neil Smith and babies Charlie and Lucy Mullen.

Reposing at her home at 31 Castleross Retirement Village, Carrickmacross, this Monday from 4pm. Due to current government restrictions, Assumpta's funeral is private to family.

A memorial ceremony to celebrate Assumpta's life will be held at a future date. Donations, if desired, to MS Care Centres, Ireland.
