It is with regret that we note the deaths of the following people from counties Cavan and Monaghan in the past 24 hours as reported on RIP.ie

Feodora (Fedja) Cameron

Lough Sillan House, Shercock, Cavan

The death has occurred of Feodora 'Fedja' Cameron of Lough Sillan House, Shercock, Co. Cavan on 11 October, 2020. Peacefully, at home, in the care of her immediate family. She is survived by husband Anthony, sons Gregory and Ian, stepchildren Jamie and Henrietta and grandson Matthew. The family would like to thank Mary McDuffie, the Cavan-Monaghan Palliative Care team and carers Breda, Geraldine, Ann and Laura.

"If there's another world, she lives in bliss,

if there is none, she made the best of this".

Due to current government advice, a private cremation will take place for family members only. Memorial to be announced at a later date.

Rose Lyons

Clonervy House, Poles, Cavan

Rose Lyons, Clonervy house, Poles, Co. Cavan. Peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Pre-deceased by her brother Jimmy. Beloved Sister of Louis, Ben, Martin, Bernadette, Geraldine, Gabriel, Carmel, Eileen and Susan.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock in St. Patrick’s Church, Castletara, with Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery

Stanley (Stan) McCormack

Castlepark, Ballybane, Galway / Cavan

Formerly Knockbride, Co. Cavan.

(peacefully) in loving care at Caiseal Geal Nursing Home. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his loving wife Eileen, daughter Cathriona and her partner John, son Conor and his wife Celine, brothers Brendan and Gerry, sisters-in-law Frances and Kathleen, brothers-in-law Pete and Ciaran, his nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Stanley on Tuesday, 13th October, 2020, 12 noon at St. Brigid’s Church, Ballybane. Interment in Rinville cemetery, Oranmore. The family are very appreciative of your sympathy and support at this difficult time.

ROSE SHEVLIN (née FINNEGAN)

Carragartha, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Rose Shevlin,Carragartha , Castleblayney, Monaghan, Sunday October 11th, peacefully in the loving care of her family in her 94th year. Rose, predeceased by her husband Pat and her son Pat. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Kathleen & Anne, sons Peter & Martin, brother Gene Finnegan (New York), her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family of relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Rose’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Rose will repose among family only, at the residence of her daughter, Kathleen Lambe, until her removal on Tuesday, 13th October, at 10.30am from her own home at Carrickgartha, to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Rose’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family only (restricted to 25). House private at all times, please.
