CG Power Systems Ireland has formally rebranded as 'Kyte Powertech'.

It follows the acquisition by of the business by MML Capital Growth Partners Ireland, alongside local management, back in June.

Having already endowed the plant with over €4.5 million in new cutting technology, robotic welding and state of the art winding machines this year, Kyte has ambitious plans for further growth.

The rebrand, Kyte management says, represents a significant step as the business prepares itself for the future of electrical transformer production.

Stephanie Leonard, Kyte Powertech Managing Director, said: “Kyte Powertech’s 420 strong employees, international customer base and global suppliers welcomed the buyout in July of this year and celebrate this new brand identity. The new brand encompasses energy expertise and integrity in all its interactions with customers, suppliers as well as its own employees and teams. We will use this new era and brand launch to continue to soar in the industry.”
