Hope of reuniting owner with missing ring

“This is a long shot folks but this gold wedding band is still in the property store and we are anxious to return it to its owner,” say Gardaí.

Local Gardaí have launched an public appeal to try and reunite the rightful owner with a wedding ring that went missing in Cavan Town almost two-years-ago.

Posted with the title 'Long Shot' on social media, Gardaí have also shared an image of the ring which was found on Ashe Street on October 2, 2018.

“This is a long shot folks but this gold wedding band is still in the property store and we are anxious to return it to its owner,” say Gardaí.

They are asking people to also share the post and get in contact if they can help locate the true owner by contacting Cavan Garda Station on 049 4331300.
