David (Davy) Boyd, Park View, Cavan Town & formerly Newtownards, Co. Down.

Thursday, January 28th, suddenly at his home with his family. Predeceased by his father Alan. Sadly missed by his devastated family, his partner Carmel Doyle, his beloved daughters Carrie & Lillie, mother Rae, sisters Sharon & Debbie, Kerrie, Andrew, nieces, nephews, all his relatives & many friends.

Due to current Government & HSE restrictions , Davy's Funeral & cremation will be private to family only. Those who would like to send their condolences to the family are asked to do so in the section below. Davy's remains will arrive at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for private cremation at 4pm on Monday, February 1st. The family would like to thank you all for your cooperation & understanding at this time. Family flowers only please. House private at all times please.

Angela Mc Connon (nee Keelaghen) 5 Church Mews, Cootehill, Co. Cavan

The death has occurred of Angela Mc Connon (nee Keelaghen) 5 Church Mews, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. January 29th 2021 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, Cavan.Predeceased by her loving husband John Patrick Mc Connon. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her Cousins, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Funeral cortege leaving Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill on Saturday morning at 11.40am to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Cootehill for 12 noon funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Cootehill. Due to Government and HSE restrictions Angela's funeral mass will be private.

Felix Dolan, Golagh, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Deeply regretted by his sister Rose (Birmingham), nieces, nephews, relations, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass on Saturday 30th January at 11am in St. Patrick's Church, Glangevlin, with cremation in Lakeland Crematorium Cavan at 1.30pm.

Josie Mc Mahon, née Mulligan, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Blackrock, Co. Dublin and Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.

Josie died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Johnny of 64 years, son Jim, daughters Marie (Savage) and Emer, daughter in law Isobel, son in law Noel, grandchildren Emily, Mark, Sean and Aine and her many nieces and nephews.

Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings (a limit of 10 family in the church) Josie’s Funeral will be held privately for immediate family only.

Catherine (Kitty) Busby (née Gollogly), Farney Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kitty) Busby (née Gollogly), Farney Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in her 98th year in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff at Castleross Nursing Home Friday 29th January 2021. Predeceased by her husband Barney and son Mark. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters Helen (McGinn) and Daragh (Linehan) Cork, sons-in-law Kevin and Eamon, grandchildren Faith, Caoimhe, Fiona, Uischi, Emily, Rachel and Sarah, great-grandchildren Stephen, Sophie, Aodhan and Marcus, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Guidelines for Level 5, there will be no public wake as Kitty’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by her family (limited to 10).

There will be an opportunity for neighbours and friends to pay their respects by lining the route to St. Joseph’s in a socially distanced manner as Kitty’s funeral cortège leaves the residence of her daughter Helen (Lisanisk) on Sunday morning to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Enda’s Cemetery, Killanny.

Marie Celine Durkan (née Moen), Silver Spring, MD and originally of, Ballybay, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Marie Celine Durkan (nee Moen), on Sunday, January 24, 2021, of Silver Spring, MD and originally of Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late Walter Eugene Durkan. She is deeply missed by her son, Brendan Durkan and daughters Ann-Marie Acosta and Ciara Durkan (their husbands Carlos and Butch); grandchildren Sean (Jade), Kevin, and Kaitlyn Durkan; Tierney, Declan, and Maeve Acosta; Seamus and Pearse Worden; great-granddaughters Cailyn and Mckenna Durkan; as well as beloved relatives around the world.

Mass of Christian Burial will be livestreamed on Saturday, February 6, at 11 a.m. via https://www.facebook.com/sjbcc. The death has occurred of Martin Myers Coramunady, Monaghan Town, Monaghan on Friday January 29 at Cavan General Hospital.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Bernie, sons and daughter Paul (Kendrah) Ciara (Sean) Philip (Sinead). By his grandchildren Eoin, Grace, Tara, Charlotte and Shea and by his aunt Celine.Predeceased by his mother Margaret, brothers Reggie and Brendan, sisters Roisin and Burnadette. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
