Nan (Annie Bridget) McNiff (née Sheridan)

Ardnaglass, Ballymote, Sligo / Glangevlin, Cavan

The death has occurred of Nan (Annie Bridget) McNiff (nee Sheridan) Ardnaglass, Ballymote Co. Sligo formerly of Corralacka, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan mother of Ann and PJ peacefully at the home of her daughter Ann surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, sadly missed by her daughter Ann, son PJ, daughter-in-law Aideen, grandson Jonathon, grand-daughter Ciara, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Remains leaving her daughters home on Monday at 10.30am via Dowra and The Metal Bridge arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to covid 19 restrictions the house and funeral is private to family and close friends. Anyone wishing to sympathise can do so at a distance in Doobally Church Car Park.

Anna May Murtagh (née Harten)

Aughaloora, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Anna May Murtagh (nee Harten) Aughaloora, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. Saturday, February 6th (peacefully) at her home. Pre-deceased by her husband Tommie, son Jimmy and brother's Paul & Ned. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Helen, son John, sister Eithne Leddy, daughter-in-law Maggie, brother-in-law Eddie, grandchildren Shane, Stephanie, Kevin and Linda, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass on Monday (8th) in St. Patrick's Church Aughaloora at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery Ballinarry. In line with the current Government and HSE guidelines the funeral is private to family. Those who wish to stand along the route of the funeral are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Lawrence Kangley

Bracklin, Bailieborough, Cavan / Castleblayney, Monaghan

Lawrence Kangley, Bracklin, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan and Iona House, Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan, died 3rd February 2021, peacefully, at Our Lady’s Hospital, Drogheda. Deeply regretted by his brother Ownie, sisters Bridgid and Ellie, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Dan Leddy, Ardleny, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. Friday, February 5th (peacefully) at his home. Predeceased by his wife Gretta, sisters Kathleen and Nancy and brother Brendan. Sadly missed by his loving sons Daniel and Padraic, daughter Cathriona, grandchildren Daniel, Tadhg and Chris, sisters Peggy Sheridan and Phyllis Comiskey, daughters-in-law Sarah and Lorraine, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Maureen Plunkett (née Doyle)

Toughernaross, Kilcogy, Cavan / Dring, Longford

The death has occurred of Maureen Plunkett (nee Doyle), Toughernaross, Kilcogy, Co.Cavan and formerly of Ballinulty, Dring Co. Longford, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Harry. Sadly missed by her children Kathleen, John Joe, Gertrude, Oliver and Patrick, brothers Tom, Ballinulty, Dring and Monsignor Canon Harry, Topsharn, Exeter, England, sons-in-law Peter and Joey, daughters-in-law Claire and Catherine, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Maureen's remains will leave her residence on Sunday, 7th February, at 1.15pm to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Carrick, Finea for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. In compliance with current Covid 19 guidelines Maureen's Funeral Mass will be restricted to family members only.

Breege (Tilly) McGovern (nee McCaffery), 107 O Neill park Clones, Co. Monaghan. Friday, 5th February, in the loving care of her family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Jimmy, daughter Catriona and brother Jim U.S.A.

Deeply regretted by her sons Jimmy (Sandra), Eugene (Pauline), Aidan (Ethna), Brian, Liam (Jenny), Damien (Frances), daughters Geraldine (Curley), Carmel (Paddy), brother Hugh, sisters-in-law Rose & Mary-Ann, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at her residence. Breege's funeral cortège will leave her residence at 10.30am on Monday 8th to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Clones, for requiem Mass at 11am. Followed by internment in Mount St Olivier's cemetery, Roslea road, Clones.

Annie passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of her two daughters Ann & Patricia. Annie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters, sons-in-law Richard & Kevin, grandchildren James, Áine, Shannon, Jamie & Ella, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Martin passed away peacefully in Beaumont Hospital Dublin, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Angela, and adored father of Mark (Rosa), Darren (Laura), Michelle & Ciara. Martin will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters and sons, grandchildren Jessie, Ora, Rohan, Naomi & Colton, sisters Aggie (Duffy), Vera (McCarvil), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Martin's funeral cortège will travel from the family home at approximately 10.30am (via the Diamond and Fermanagh St.) to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Clones, for 11:30am Funeral Mass on Sunday morning.

Due to COVID19 Government Restrictions, this Mass will be private to family and restricted to 10 people. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver's Cemetery. The cortège to the cemetery will travel via the GAA Grounds and the Canon's Lane. The family would ask those who wish to pay their respects please adhere to HSE guidelines and maintain 2m social distance. Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of Dermot O'Brien. Ashland, Oregan, USA & formerly 'The Bridge', Mullinary, Carrickmacross. 3rd February 2021. Peacefully in Oregon. Predeceased by his parents Eugene & Maureen. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Sally, his son Eugene and daughters Lena & Vika, his daughter-in-law Liz, his brothers Eoin & Barry and his sisters Sheila & Marie, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
