Died 07/02/2012, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Joe and her sister Katie. Sadly missed by her 12 children, sons Eugene, Seamus and Joseph, daughters Mary, Ann, Rose, Monica, Catherine, Siobhán, Dympna, Olive and Una, her brother James, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her 43 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Annie’s remains will leave her residence on Tuesday, 9th February, at 11.30am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Bruskey, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Loughduff Cemetery.

Due to the current H.S.E. and Government Covid-19 guidelines, house will be strictly private, please. The Funeral Mass will be limited to family only. The family thank you for your cooperation at this sad time.

Annie’s funeral cortège will leave her home at 11.30am on route to St Mary’s Church, Bruskey, via the Corr Road. The route from St. Mary’s Church, Bruskey, to Loughduff Cemetery, is as follows; via the Corr road pass, Annie’s late residence, Corduff Cross and Middletown Cross, for anybody who wishes to stand along the route in a social distancing manner, as a mark of respect.

Malo Reilly, Annagelliffe, Cavan, peacefully, at home, in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Ambrose. Jacinta, Aileen, Fidelma and Linda. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, sons in law, Seamus, Kieran and Andrew, daughter in law Karen, brother Finbar, sister Cellesta, brother in law, sisters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

The death has occurred of Fr. James (Jimmie) Dowd, Ardamagh, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan and Oregon USA.

Dowd Fr James (Jimmie), Oregon USA and late of Ardamagh, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan, died peacefully in Pete Moore Hospice House, Eugene, Oregon on Wednesday, February 3rd 2021. Fr James was a parish priest and administered throughout Oregon state since 1956.

Predeceased by his brothers Paul and Paddy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his Sister-in-law Margaret (Maddie) (Ballyhaise Co. Cavan), nephews and nieces Kathleen, Seamus, Margaret, Paul, Mary, Bernadette, Rose, Pat, Oliver, Helena and Susan, his cousins, grand nieces and grand nephews, Margaret and Ellen (USA), relatives, fellow clergy and all his close friends in the USA and Ireland.

The death has occurred of Mary Kerrigan (nee Comaskey) Glendoher Rd. Rathfarmham, Dublin 16, formerly Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan. February 5th 2021, after a short illness at Tallaght Hospital. Predeceased by her brothers Benny and J. P. and her sister Kathleen.

Mary will be sadly missed by her sons Nessan and Fiachra, daughter Ciara, their father Finbar, grandchildren Aidan and Mica, and their mother Yoko, sisters Theresa, Loretta, Carmel and Bernadette, brothers Eamon and Thomas, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews relatives neighbours and friends.

Eugene McMahon

Gallonfree, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Eugene McMahon of Park View, Virginia, and formerly of Gallonfree, Virginia. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the residence of his brother at Croghan Virginia, Cavan.

Deeply regretted by his brother Charlie, sister in law Rose, his much loved nieces Maria, Marguerite, Finola, Rosalyn and nephew Charles, fondly missed by their husbands and wives, Noel, Ray, Conal, Aran and Roisin; and his cherished grand nieces and nephews. They will greatly miss their uncle Gene.

Eugene's funeral cortège will travel from Croghan to St Bartholomew's church, Munterconnaught, for 12 noon Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Feb. 9th. Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place, followed by burial in Oldcastle Cemetery. As a mark of respect friends and neighbours are very welcome to line the route at a socially distanced and safe manner.

Eugene's family would like to acknowledge the amazing work and the dedication of all who looked after him. In particular, his wonderful carers Brigid and Breda, the Virginia Primary Care nurses and Dr Derval Foyle. Their care, support and attention will never be forgotten.
