Gardaí investigate thefts from cars

Gardaí in Cavan are currently investigating a number of thefts from cars.

The incidents occurred before the weekend, on Friday night, February 12 into Saturday morning February 13.

Vehicles parked in the Swellan, Barrack Hill, Lurganboy areas of the town were illegally entered.

Gardaí are asking the public if they noticed anything suspicious or can assist them in their investigations in any way to contact Cavan Garda Station on 049 4331300.

The appeal was made on the division's Facebook page with a reminder to all vehicle owners to ensure their property is secure.
