Drugs seized in Cavan Town raid
Man charged and is before the courts
A man has been charged and is currently before the courts following a drugs raid in Cavan at the weekend.
On Saturday, February 27, members attached to the Cavan/Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit, with the assistance of local Gardaí, searched a property under warrant in the Cavan town area.
During the course of the search a quantity of cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy were recovered by officers.
A male in his late 20s was arrested at the scene and the drugs seized.
He was detained for questioning at Cavan Garda Station and later charged with drug related offences before the courts.
