Nora Cusack

Stradone Village, Stradone, Cavan

Nora passed away peacefully at Castlemanor Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her husband John. Sadly missed by her daughter Susan, sons Sean and Kevin and her sister Jane Whitters (Donegal), daughters in law, son in law, her adored grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

May she rest in Peace.

Brigid Brady (née Gallagher)

Corfad, Stradone, Cavan

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of John, sadly missed by her son Brian, daughters Mary Fitzpatrick (Bawnboy), Kathleen O' Reilly and Roisin O' Connell (Corfad). Lovingly remembered by her brother Hugh (Huddersfield), sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Vincent Donaghy

Tyrone / Monaghan

Donaghy (Donaghmore) March 8th 2021, peacefully at Fairfields Care Centre, Vincent, cherished father to Carole, Kathryn (Whye), Lynne (Hurson) and Kevin and father-in-law to Peter, Craig, Garry and Robyn. Doting grandfather to Eimear, Sean, Neve, Orla, Henry and SarahMuch loved bother to Kathleen (Grimes), John, Teresa (Clarke), Eamon, Arthur, and the late Hugh RIP

Vincent's Requiem Mass will take place tomorrow, Tuesday in St. Patrick's Church, however due to current restrictions both mass and interment in the adjacent cemetery is limited to immediate family only.

Paddy Finnegan

Drynan, Ballymahon, Longford / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

After a short illness. Predeceased by his sister Marie and his parents Bridget and James. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann, daughter Tracey and son James. His brothers and sisters, Francis, Seamus, Tom, Alice, Michael and Noel. Sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing privately.

Due to current Government and HSE guidelines on funeral gatherings, a private funeral Mass for family only will take place in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon on Wednesday at 12 o'clock followed by burial in Shrule Cemetery. A live link will be available from 12 o'clock on Wednesday for anyone who may wish to view the funeral Mass on St Matthew's Church facebook page.

The family requests that the house remain strictly private please on this sad occasion. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to "The friends of Tullamore Hospital Hospice" please.

Paul Kane

Castleblayney, Monaghan / Glasnevin, Dublin

Suddenly but peacefully. Paul, beloved son of Frieda and Willie (Liam) and father of Emma. Paul will be very sadly missed by parents, daughter, loving sister Irene, godchild and niece Leah, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and his good friend Noel.

Brian (Bernard) McMullen, Drumgolat, Castleshane, Clontibret,. Co. Monaghan, passed away in St Mary's Home, Castleblaney, on Monday 8th March 2021. Predeceased by his brother John (Drumgolat) and sister Bridie McQuade (Annasera). Sadly missed by his sisters Margaret Pinder (Fleetwood, England) and Kathleen Vallely (Derrynoose), nephews and nieces.

Vera Roche

Mullinary Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Vera Roche. Mullinary Road, Carrickmacross, 7th March 2021. In her 94th year, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Mary's Nursing Home, Castleblayney. Predeceased by her husband Christy. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family, her daughters Bridie (Roche-Carroll) and Mary (Dennis, Australia), her sons Tony (China), John (England), Christopher (Australia), Kieran & Damian, her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current guidelines, Vera's Funeral Mass will take place privately, for family only (limited to 10), in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, on Wednesday, 10th March, at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross. There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects, by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Vera's funeral cortège leaves her home on Wednesday morning at 10:25am, via the Pound, the Bridewell & Main Street proceeding to St. Joseph's Church.

As a mark of respect to Vera, 'Irene Zhongs Chinese Takeaway', Carrickmacross, will remain closed until Thursday 11th March.
