Search continues for missing Cavan teen

Gardaí are continuing to search for a young Cavan girl who went missing the day before St Patrick’s Day.

Amanda Lenkauskaite (15) was last seen in the Cootehill area of Cavan at approximately 4:15pm on Tuesday, March 16.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing her whereabouts.

She has now been missing for almost four days.

Gardaí issued a statement asking for help yesterday (Friday) evening. As of this afternoon (Saturday) there had been no new updates in relation to the missing person case, a spokesperson for the force confirmed.

Described as 5 foot in height, of medium build with long blonde hair, when last seen Amanda was wearing a dark grey coat, a white top, light grey leggings and dark grey Nike runners.
