Paddy Rooney

Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, 25th March 2021.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Noreen, sons Conor and Shane, daughters Patricia (Duffy) and Emma.

Predeceased by his granddaughter Caoimhe Duffy, his parents, brothers and sisters.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his family, his sister Kathleen (Reilly), his daughter-in-law Martina, son-in-law Bernard, his adored grandchildren Amy, Paddy, Noel, Shay and Niamh, Amy's husband Matthew, Paddy's partner Linda and Noel's partner Lisa, great grandchildren Jack and Caitlin, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private Funeral Mass will take place for the family in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt on Sunday, 28th March, at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Paddy's funeral cortège will leave his home and travel via Lower Main Street, Main Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt to the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday morning, arriving at 12 noon.

Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line the route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

(Stella Maria, Rosary Lane, Taylor’s Hill, Galway)- March 25th 2021; late of Mercy Convents Clifden, South Africa & Galway and formerly of Camlisk, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford; (peacefully) in the loving care of Sisters and Staff in Stella Maria. Predeceased by her parents Patrick & Annie (nee Quinn), her brothers Patrick (New York), Laurie­ (Edgeworthstown), Tony (England), sister Cecily (Cavan) and sister-in-law Noleen; Deeply regretted by her sister- in- law Claire (England), her nieces and nephews, Sisters of Mercy Western Province, relatives, friends and former colleagues and past pupils of Clifden.

Due to HSE and Government guidelines her funeral will be private. Mass will be celebrated in Church of Christ the King, Salthill, Galway on Saturday at 1.00p.m. and will be live streamed at salthillparish.ie.

Burial afterwards in Clifden, Convent Cemetery.

Suddenly at Naas General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Terry and Sheila and sister Bernie.

Sadly, missed by his loving family, brothers Aidan and Joe, sisters Mary (Connolly), Mairead (Mooney), Olive (Ryan) and Cepie (McCabe), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and special friends Louis and Siobhan.

Leaving Murphy’s Funeral Home on Saturday, 27th March, arriving at St. Colmcille's Church, Kells, for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in St. Colmcille Cemetery.

In her 97th year, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her husband James & her seven brothers & seven sisters. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family, her sons Thomas, Jim and Timothy and her daughters Rose, Geraldine & Caroline, her daughters-in-law Anne, Pauline & Marian, her sons-in-law Sean, Brendan & Eamonn, her eleven adored grandchildren and sixteen cherished great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law May McDaniel, nephews, nieces, relatives & Friends.

Anne Gormally (née Mohan)

Phibsboro, Dublin / Monaghan

Gormally (née Mohan) Anne, Phibsborough, Dublin and formerly of Silverstream, Monaghan. March 25th 2021.

(Peacefully) after a long illness. Surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her husband Vincent and her son Anthony. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Catherine, Breda and Una, sons Martin, Enda and Thomas, grandchildren Aoife, Louise, Sean, Cian, Niall, Conor, Andrew, Caroline, Orla, Lara, Danny and Finn, daughters in law Mary, Kath, Ethel, and Tracy, sons in law Gerry, Emmet, and Tommy, sister Una(Winnie) and brother Jay. Anne will be sadly missed by her wide circle of family and friends.

Very sadly missed by his loving parents, Una & Daniel Leavey, his sisters Abbi, Zoe, Aoife, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all his extended Family, neighbours, and friends.

Johnny died peacefully after a long illness, bravely bourne, at Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted by his loving and devoted wife Maureen, daughters Martina and Olive, sons in-law Lala and Kevin, his adoring grandchildren Dara, Iain, Eoin, Karla and Alesha, brothers James, Noel, Liam and Larry, his sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

The death has occurred on Thursday, March 25th of Mary Jo O’Brien (née Roddy), Mullingar Road, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath; peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the matron and staff of Roselodge Nursing Home, Killucan.

Predeceased by her parents Owen and Anne Roddy, husband Jimmy, son Pat and daughter Marcella. Sadly missed her sons Timmy (Ardee), Seamus (Mullingar), Eugene and daughter Bridie (Castlepollard), son-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
