The death has occurred of Matt (Matthew) Donagh, Lower Main Street, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, 12th April 2021. Predeceased by his wife Florence. Deeply regretted by his son Pat, daughter in law Rosena, sister-in-law Josephine and husband Pat Donegan, grandchildren David, Pádraig and SarahRose, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral mass will take place for family in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Matt's funeral cortège will travel from the Rocks Road, via Main Street, Lower Main Street, Church Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt to the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday evening at 6.30 pm approximately. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

Peggy Fitzpatrick, died 11th of April 2021, Peacefully at the residence of her sister, Mildred Sexton, Balintemple, Balinagh, Co. Cavan. Late of Tierlahood, Stradone, Co. Cavan. Pre-deceased by her parents Edward and Lucy, sister Nan, brother Charlie,and infant brother Eamon. Deeply regretted by her loving sister Mildred, nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence, Tierlahood, Stradone. Removal this Tuesday morning, leaving house at 11.30 o'clock to St. Micheal's Church, Clifferna, arriving at 12 noon for funeral Mass and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

In line with H.S.E. and Government regulations, the funeral Mass will be private to family members only. House private please. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those standing along the route of the funeral cortege.

McDermott, Pauline, Rockfield Road, Kells and formerly of Drumnaveil, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, 10th April 2021. Suddenly at her home after a long illness. Beloved partner of David and mother of Ronan and Niall. Pauline will be sadly missed by her sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and many friends.

Predeceased by his sister Mary McMahon. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret and much loved father of Martin (Annette), Hugh (Karen), Gerard, Dominic (Paula), Teresa (Declan), Stephen (Orla), Damien (Barbara), Paula (Simo) and Mairead. Devoted grandfather of Darragh, Bláthnaid, Saoirse, Jack, Grace, Katelyn, Ellen, James, Conor, Adam, Zakaria and loving brother of Margaret Treanor.

Reposing at his home until removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Mary's Chapel, Urbleshanney for 11am funeral mass. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Carragher (née McCabe) Bridie (Susan Brigid) (Malahide Road, Dublin 3 and formerly of Carrickmacross Co. Monaghan) April 11th 2021 (peacefully) at Beaumont Hospital; beloved wife of the late Paul and loving mother of Helen, Carole and Raymond. Sadly missed by her family, sons-in-law Peter and Martin, daughter-in-law Therese, grandchildren Siobhán, Feargal, Clíona, Laoise, Dearbhla, Diarmuid and James, sister-in-law Rosemary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, at Our lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, having been wonderfully cared for in St. Mary's Nursing Home, Castleblayney. Predeceased by her parents Patrick & Margaret, her brother Gerard & her infant sister Susan. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family her husband Eddie, her daughter Louise (McGivney) & son Mark (Australia), son-in-law Nigel, her adored grandchildren Abbie, Rebecca, Lewis, Shane, Toni & Brandon, her sisters Alice (O'Neill, Latton) & Anna (House, UK), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Michael Quinn, Hillmar Farm, Billises, Co. Monaghan, April 12th 2021, peacefully. Predeceased by his sister Margaret.

Beloved husband of Mary and adored father of Ann, James(Barbara), Catherine(Paul, Australia), Michael(Fiona) and Sylvester(Dorren). The death has occurred of Eugene Rafferty, Donagh House and late of Drumcoobrady, Tydavnet, Co.Monaghan. Monday 12th April, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Eugene's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale on Tuesday evening from 6pm - 8pm (Please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times). Eugene's funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 11am in St.Dympna's Church, Tydavnet. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral mass will be streamed live on 'Tydavnet Parish RC Churches' Facebook page.
