Victor Ginger

Rahardrum Lane, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred peacefully of Victor Ginger, Rahardrum Lane, Virginia, Co. Cavan on 9 May 2021, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Deeply regretted by his partner Sarah, his father John, his daughter Michelle, his son Marc, his brother John, his sister Kathy, his grandchildren Jade, Mark, Megan and Connor and his great grandchildren Ollie, Oscar and Mia- Rose, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

A celebration of Victor's life will take place at Matthews Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1 o’clock restricted to family and friends., followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium. The celebration of Victor's life will be livestreamed.

Paul Maguire

Aughersakilla, Ballyconnell, Cavan / Ballyshannon, Donegal / Dublin

Paul Maguire, Aughersakilla, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan & late of Tullyhorkey, Ballyshannon and Dublin. May 9th 2021, suddenly at his home.

Predeceased by his father John. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Kathleen, brothers and sisters, Seamus (Dublin), Roisin (Longford), Doreen (Dublin), Angela (Canada), Kitty (Enniskillen), Marian (Ballyhugh),Tony (Dublin), Kevin (Dunderry), Sheila (Drumree), Noeleen (Dublin), Declan (Ballyhugh), Orla(Belturbet), Ciarán (Butlersbridge), Colm (Ballyconnell), Yvonne (Killesher), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Paul's remains will leave the family home on Wednesday arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell at 3 o'clock for Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please.

Due to government and HSE guidelines, Paul's funeral will be limited to 50 people. Those who wish to show their support along the route are asked to do so by social distancing in a safe manner.

Paul's family wish to express their appreciation for your understanding at this difficult time.

Maureen O'Brien (née Kiernan)

Kilcully, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Maureen O’Brien, (nee Kiernan), Kilcully, Ballyjamesduff, 8th May 2021 at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Sean, brother Gerard, sister Dolores. Deeply regretted by her loving family, Collette, Madeline, Sean, David and Gerard, sister Phillis.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Removal on Wednesday from Lakeland’s Funeral Home to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Cremation will take place afterwards in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Dublin Rd., Cavan.

Thomas Wilson

Corryholman, Muff, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Thomas Wilson, Corryholman, Muff, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, suddenly at Our Lady’s Hospital Navan, 09th May 2021.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen, daughter Aisling, sons Tomás, Ronan and Cian and granddaughter Serena. Predeceased by his parents Teresa & Laurence and his brother Martin. Sadly missed by his sisters May, Rose, Teresa, Edel, Anne, Olive, Valerie, brothers Laurence, Joseph and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral mass will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Thomas’s Funeral Mass will be available to view online at 10am on Friday morning, 14th May on the following links;

Thomas's funeral cortège will begin from his home on Friday morning, travelling via Lower Main Street, Main Street, Church Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt to the Church of the Immaculate Conception from 9.30 am. Neighbours and friends are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.
