Bernadette Gaynor

Garrymore, Ballinagh, Cavan

Bernadette Gaynor, Garrymore, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, Wednesday, May 12th 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the wonderful staff in Medical 2, Cavan General Hospital. Loving daughter of the late Mary and Michael Gaynor and sister of the late Pearse, Sean, Mary (Baby), Kathleen, Gretta, Ciss, Winnie and Laura. Bernadette will be very sadly missed by her sisters Isabella Corrigan and Sue McGovern her brother Thomas, nephews, nieces, all her relatives, her good neighbours, and many friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Matthew Curley

Derrylea, Emyvale, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Matthew Curley, Derrylea, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan. Wednesday, 12th May, suddenly.

Matthew will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by his parents John & Fiona (Fields), his sister Katie and brother Josh, grandmother Rosemary Fields, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Matthew's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday evening (please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times). Matthew's funeral mass will take place on Friday morning at 11am in St.Mary's Church, Glennan (restricted to 50 family/friends only); https://mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-marys-church-5. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mourners are welcome to pay their respects as Matthew's funeral cortege travels from his home to the church on Friday morning.

Betty (Elizabeth) Farnan (née Leonard)

Corvalley, Braddox, Monaghan, H18 W940

The death has occurred of Betty (Elizabeth) Farnan (nee Leonard), Corvalley, Braddox, Monaghan. Tuesday, May 11th, suddenly at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Michael, son Sean, parents Patrick and Katie and her sister Maureen Markey. Betty, deeply regretted by her loving family, her sons Michéal and Kieran, daughters Bernadine (Kelly), Geraldine (Rooney), Marion (Kelly), Philly (Mc Gahey), Siobhán (West), Ann (McKernan), Lorraine (Byrne) and Glenda (Haughey), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her cherished grandchildren, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Removal from Wards Funeral Home, Ballybay today Wednesday at 6:30pm, for Betty to repose amongst her family and friends at her home in Corvalley. Funeral cortège will travel from her home on Saturday morning at 11:15am to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Due to the current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Betty’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family.

Brendan Lynch

7 O'Neill Park, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Brendan Lynch, 7 O'Neill Park, Clones Co. Monaghan, May 12th 2021, peacefully, at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Clones. Beloved husband of Susan. Brendan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved him.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Brendan's Funeral Mass takes place on Friday, May 14th, at 11am in the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones. Due to COVID19 government restrictions, the Mass and burial will be private to family, relatives and friends and restricted to 50 people. For those who wish to pay their respects, please adhere to HSE guidelines and maintain 2m social distance.

Eadestown, Naas, Kildare / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

Unexpectedly, at his home. Beloved grandson of the late Ann Dowling and remembering his brother-in-law John Delaney both recently deceased.

Sadly missed by his fiancée Sinéad, mother Margaret, father Matthew, sisters Joanne and Christine, brother Graham, sister-in-law Ita, brother-in-law Gary, nieces Carlie and Sophie, godson Cody, Margaret's husband John, extended family, neighbours and friends.
