Cool with scattered showers

Today will be cool with sunny spells and scattered showers, according to Met Eireann's Ulster forecast. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in a light to moderate west to northwest breeze.

Scattered showers will continue for a time early tonight, but will soon clear as cloud builds in from the west.

Outbreaks of rain will develop overnight and will become heavy in the west towards morning. It will become breezier with moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds developing, strong near the west and northwest coast. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees.

Tomorrow

A band of showery rain will continue to move eastwards across Ulster tomorrow morning and early afternoon, with sunny spells and scattered showers following from the west. Some showers will be heavy and there will be a risk of thunderstorms and hail. Fresh and gusty southerly winds will veer westerly and ease after the rain passes. Another cool day with highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.
