The death has occurred of Tony Mc Cabe, Drumnaveil North, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. May 31st 2021, suddenly at Galway University Hospital, Galway.

Finbar O'Sullivan

Lusk, Dublin / Glasnevin, Dublin / Belturbet, Cavan

The death has occurred of Finbar O Sullivan, Lusk, Co. Dublin and formerly 41 Willow Park Road, Glasnevin Dublin 11 and Belturbet, Co. Cavan. May 29th May 2021. (Suddenly). Finbar, sadly missed by his beloved family, sisters Majella and Collette, brothers Owen, Brendan and Peter, sisters-in-law Nuala, Deirdre and Ann, brothers-in-law Ciaran and Nick. A hero to his many nieces and nephews, Conall, Ross, Graham, James, Roisin, Niamh, Donal, Siobhan, Patrick, Sarah, Sean, Brendan, Gerard, Ciara, Shane. Sadly, missed also by his extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Finbar’s Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday (June 2nd) at 11am in Our Mother of Divine Grace Catholic Church, Ballygall Rd E, Ballygall, Dublin, D11 X026, with burial afterwards in Staghall Cemetery, Belturbet, Co. Cavan to arrive approximately at 2pm. Funeral Mass can be viewed on the Parish Webcam.

Tina Quinn (née Cronin)

Killymooney Drive, Cavan Town, Cavan

Tina Quinn, née Cronin, Killymooney Drive, Cavan Town. Pre-deceased by her daughter Martina, sister Joan Clarke (Navan), brothers Sean, Bertie and Eamon. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, Jolene and Miranda, sons Henry and Patrick, sisters Dolly Doyle (Cork), Eileen Lynch, Kathleen Brady and Josephine Galligan, brother Cathal (Achill), her adored grandchildren Cooper, Kyra, Patrick, Leon, Cian, Brendan and Finn, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands, Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow, Wednesday, from 5-7.30pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning at 11am to the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, restricted to 50 people. Interment afterwards in St Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry.

Neighbours and friends are very welcome to line the route in a safe and socially distanced manner, as a mark of respect.

Kevin Casey, Drumcroy, Mohill, Co. Leitrim - 29th May 2021, Suddenly. Predeceased by his parents Marie and Brendan, Sadly missed by his loving family brothers Philip and John, sister Nicole (Kiernan ) brother-in-law Paraic, sisters-in-law, Martina and Clodagh, nephew Jack, nieces Rachael, Sarah, Grainne, Amy and Robyn, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his home with removal to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Mohill, for a Funeral Mass on Wednesday ,2nd of June 2021, at 12 noon with Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass may be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/mohill.

Mary Goss (née McTigue)

Goss (nee McTigue) (Lucan Heights, Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim) May 31st, 2021 (peacefully), at The Mater Hospital. Mary, beloved wife of Joseph (Joe) and dear mother of Breandán, Orna, Aoibhin, Nodlaigh and Ciara. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, sisters Marie and Patricia, brother Roddy, sons-in-law Niall and Andronikos, daughter-in-law Cathy, grandchildren Daithí and Molly, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Anne Kassam (née Halton)

Rathcor, Granard, Longford

Died 31/05/2021, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady’s Manor, Edgeworthstown. Predeceased by her father James Halton and her mother Sarah Halton. Sadly missed by her daughter Camila Healy (Dublin) and her immediate family, loving brothers Laurence, Philip and Michael,sisters Carmel, Mary and Veronica, sisters-in-law Fiona, Rita and Elizabeth, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Family prayers at 6.30pm on Wednesday the 2nd at Smith’s Funeral Home, Barrack St. Granard, Co. Longford. Removal from Smith’s Funeral Home on Thursday the 3rd of June to St. Mary’s Church, Granard, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Mullinalaghta Cemetery. Due to the current H.S.E. and Government Covid-19 guidelines, Anne’s Funeral Mass will be limited to 50 people.

Funeral cortège will leave Smith’s Funeral Home en route to St. Mary’s Church, Granard, at 11.45am. After funeral Mass en route to Mullinalaghta Cemetery, the funeral cortège will travel via Brown’s Cross, Killeen old national school, Piper’s cross, Purth Cross and Mullinroe Cross for anybody who wishes to stand along the route as a mark of respect.

Patrick Greenan

Killycoonagh, Newbliss, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patrick Greenan, Killycoonagh, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan. Patrick passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Monday, 31st May. Predeceased by his Parents, Sisters Stella (O'Halloran), Maureen (Greenan), Veronica, Christine, brothers Bernard and Peter.

Beloved brother of Eugene, Dott (Boylan,Glaslough) and Isobel (Hamilton, USA). Patrick will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, Aideen and Maura, brother-in-law Austin, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved him.

Patrick will be resting at the family home amongst his family due to COVID-19 restrictions (from 8pm this Monday evening) until removal on Wednesday morning to St Laobhin's Chapel, Killeevan, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Due to COVID19 government restrictions, the Mass and burial will be private to family and friends and restricted to 50 people. For those who wish to pay their respects, please adhere to HSE guidelines and maintain 2m social distance.

Killacorn, Emyvale, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patricia McKenna (Hughie), Killacorn, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, Saturday 29th May peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Eddie & Annie. Lovingly remembered by her sisters and brothers, Maura (Coyle), Eamon, Eithne, Denis, Noel, Rita (Leonard), Colin & Carmel (Finnan). Trisha will be sadly missed by her brothers in law and sisters in law. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Mary Mullen nee Murphy, 12 Lough Lane, Glaslough and formerly 22 Old Cross Square, Monaghan Town, Monday 31st May, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband Frank Mullen. Lovingly remembered by her sons Francis (Sequinda) & Colm, daughter Mary (Martin), grandchildren Mia, Art, Maine, Teilo & Earl, sisters Dympna Crowther, Brigid Henry, sister in law May, extended family and friends.
