June Bank Holiday weather will be dry, mild and a bit cloudy

The June Bank Holiday weekend will be mainly dry, mild and a bit cloudy, according to Met Eireann.

The weather on Saturday is expected to be the worst of the weekend with the chance of light showers throughout the morning and afternoon before the sun makes a reappearance in the evening. The maximum temperature is expected to be 17 degrees.

Following a dull start, Sunday is expected to brighten up in the late morning with temperatures getting closer if not quite hitting the 20 degree mark.

Monday is set to be another dry and cloudy day with the sun making sporadic appearances throughout the afternoon and evening. Temperatures are expected to hit a high of 18 degrees.
