Growing in difficult times

While many of us were forced to pause our normal life since March 2020, there were others that soldiered on. One ‘essential service’ that forged on was operated by Wilton Recycling.

Wilton Recycling is a family-run company which initially focused on skip hire, before seamlessly transitioning to scrap metal recycling. Over the years, they moved into a wider range of waste management and refined recycling services, including local wheelie bin collection around Co Cavan.

Rodney Wilton says the last year and a half have been a busy time for the environmental firm: “We successfully service a strong domestic base and a growing commercial base around Cavan. Whilst the last 18 months, have been difficult for many, there has been a clear increase in house de-cluttering and home improvements resulting in a record-breaking number of skip hires in 2020, a trend which is set to continue in 2021 within the domestic market.”

The Group continues to grow, not only through its sister company in Naas but also through exporting scrap metal across international waters into global markets.

Rodney says the company’s philosophy is about serving the needs of the client: “Whether you are a domestic customer in Cavan or an international corporate, we ensure a friendly and personable service to all. If you would like to know about any of our services then please contact us.”
