Sr Andrew (Bridgid) Donohoe

Greaghcrotta, Bailieborough, Cavan

Sr Andrew Donohoe (Brigid), Presentation Sisters, Pakistan and late of Greaghcrotta, Bailieborough, Co Cavan.

Sr Andrew passed away peacefully in the loving tender care of her community in Pakistan.

Predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Rose, and siblings Rose, Paddy, Con, Hugh and Owen.

She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving brother Tom and family (London), sisters-in-law Mary (Dublin), Ann (Longford), Mary (London), nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great grandnieces and great grandnephew, relatives and friends.

Sr Andrew will be greatly missed by her loyal and devoted dear friend, Sr Kathleen Magurie and all her Presentation community in Ireland and Pakistan, where she was a hard working and very dedicated missionary for the past 65 years.

Sr Andrew's funeral Mass takes place in Pakistan, Thursday 1st July 2021, at 8.30am Irish time and can be viewed by logging into St Joseph's Cathedral Rawalpindi Pakistan facebook page (it will be mainly in Urdu, with some English)

A Mass will be arranged at a later date in West Knockbride Church to celebrate her life.

Margaret Slowey (née Gaffney)

Market Street, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Formerly of Market Street, Ballyjamesduff died peacefully in the loving care of the staff & her family at Virginia Health Care Centre today 30th of June 2021.

Predeceased by her husband Seamus, sisters Patricia Traynor, Teresa Finnegan, Cathy Cummins and brother Eugene Gaffney.

Loving mother of Raymond, Yvonne(Kiernan) & Dermot, wonderful grandmother to Emma(Kiernan) and great grandmother to Jayden & Mia, sisters Annamay O Connell and Sheila Flynn, daughter in law Dolly, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthews funeral home, Virginia on Thursday 1st of July from 6pm until 8pm. Removal, Friday 2nd July, to St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff arriving for requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Oldcastle Road.

In conjunction with HSE & Goverment guidelines the funeral will be restricted to family and close friends.

Please ensure social distancing at all times.

Drumnagran, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Kenneth Smith Drumnagran, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan and formerly of Whitehall, Co. Dublin, 28th June 2021, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family. Much loved son of John and Maura, beloved partner of Zornitsa, devoted father to Emma and Harry.

Dear brother of Gareth and Sandra and former husband of Paula.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brother in law Damien, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, relatives, friends and colleagues in DCU.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday 29th.

Funeral cortege will leave his parents' home, Drumnagran, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, at 2.30pm on Thursday, 1st July, to arrive to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, for private cremation at 3pm.

Friends and neighbours are welcome to line the route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect of Kenneth.

McPadden (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Kilgarriff, Dowra, Co. Leitrim) June 28th, 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at the Ryevale Nursing Home.

Stephen beloved husband of Maureen and dear father of Stephen Jr., Catherine and Emma.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Maura, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings.

When the current circumstances have passed, we look forward to celebrating Stephen’s life with friends and extended family at a later date.

William (Willie) Carroll

Clooneena, Longford / Mohill, Leitrim

William (Willie), late of Creenagh, Mohill, Co. Leitrim, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and staff of St. Joseph’s Care Centre.

Pre-deceased by his parents Tom and Alicia. Willie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his sister Mary McDermott (Lanesboro), niece Alicia, nephews Sean, Charles and Alexander, extended family, Philomena, Walter, Orla and Jane, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Willie’s funeral cortege will leave Glennon’s Funeral Home on Sunday at 2.40pm to arrive at St. Mel’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 3.00pm, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Given the exceptional circumstances and to protect everyone dear to Willie and his family, the Mass will be restricted to 50 people only.

Seamus Boyd

Bree, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Seamus Boyd, Bree, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday, 30th June 2021, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Maura, cherished father of Karen, Paul and Ronan, daughters-in-law Tina and Norma, adored grandfather of Saoirse, Sarah, Clodagh and Dearbhla. Deeply regretted by his sister Eileen, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.

Predeceased by his grandson Lorcan, parents Sarah and Mick, brothers Brendan, Sean, Pat, Mack, sister Maureen and son-in-law Martin.

Seamus is Reposing at his residence among family and friends until removal on Friday, 2nd July, arriving at St Mary's Church, Castleblayney for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Adhering to social distancing guidelines Community, neighbours and friends can pay a final farewell to Seamus by lining the route from his residence via Main Street, Castleblayney to St Mary's Church Castleblayney Friday morning.
