The death has occurred of Desie (Des) McGovern (48) Musselburgh, Edinburgh &. formerly The Garage, Mully Lower, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan.

Unexpectedly, on Saturday, June 26. Much loved husband of Cathy & father of Regan. Beloved son of Joe & Annie & brother to Vincent, Irene, Pat, Angela (pre-deceased) & Carmel. Deeply missed by his sister in law, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, neighbours, work colleagues & wide circle of friends. Funeral arrangements later.

Mary Tuite (née Lynch)

Mullaghmore, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Mary passed away, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Patrick. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Sue, sons Pat, Seamus and Sean, daughter in law, Imelda, her beloved grandchildren Mark and Matthew, her sister Anna and brother Pat.

MAY MARY'S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Reposing at Matthew's Funeral Home, Virginia, tomorrow, Saturday, from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Sunday to St. Mary's Church Castlerahan, arriving for requiem Mass at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. In conjunction with HSE & Government guidelines funeral numbers are restricted to 50, family and close friends only, please.

The death has occurred of Pat McGivney, Brackly, Laragh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Friday, 2nd July 2021, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his family at his residence. Predeceased by his brother Michael, sister Kitty and nephew Martin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, daughters Carmel, Fidelma and Lorna, grandchildren Keeley, Hollie and Luke, brother Francie, sisters-in-law Nancy and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect for Government Guidelines, Pat will repose among family and friends until his removal on Monday the 5th of July to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Lisdoonan, for Requiem Mass at 11am, which will be celebrated privately by his family (limited to 50). Burial afterwards in adjoining new Cemetery.
