Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home on 3rd July, 2021.

Predeceased by her parents John and Madeleine, brothers Sean and Michael, sister-in-law Rita and grand-nephew Paddy.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins and her St. Louis Sisters and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

In line with HSE/Government advice regarding COVID-19, and to ensure safety for all, a private funeral will take place in St Macartan’s Cathedral Monaghan on Monday, 5th July 2021 at 11am. The Requiem Mass may be viewed online by going to the following link:

Michael Kearney

Alderwood & formerly Reaghstown, Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Ardee, Louth

The death has occurred of Michael Kearney. Alderwood, Carrickmacross & formerly Reaghstown, Co. Louth, 3rd July 2021. Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his beloved family, following a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Paddy & Kathleen (Taggie) & his brother James. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his heartbroken wife Ann, son Lorcan, daughters Cheryl (Halpenny) & Aishling (McGuinness), sons-in-law John & Thomas, his adored grandchildren Cillian, Donnacha, Blaithín, Oisín, Síofra, Dáire, Aodhán & Senán, his brothers Joe & Pat, sisters Breda, Kathleen, Bernadette & Rosaleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives & friends.

Michael will repose at home among his family and friends until removal on Tuesday, 6th July, at 10:10am arriving to St. Malachy's Church, Reaghstown for Funeral Mass at 11am, which will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends (limited to 50), followed by burial in St. Enda's Cemetery, Killanny.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects, in a socially distanced manner, as Michael's funeral cortège leave his home on Tuesday morning at 10:10am driving via the Dundalk Road, the N2 turning left at L5203 proceeding past Reaghstown Cemetery to St. Malachy's Church and following Michael's Funeral Mass proceeding via the Mill of Louth to St. Enda's Cemetery, Killanny.

Anthony Murtagh

Glen, Rockcorry, Monaghan

Anthony Murtagh, Glen, Rockcorry, Co Monaghan, Friday 2nd July, 2021. Peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rose, sister Ann Connolly (Dublin), brothers in law, sister in law, nephew, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Remains reposing at the residence of Thomas and Briege O'Brien, Corragarry, Canningstown, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, Eircode H16H342, until removal on Monday morning, via Lisnalong, Glen and Rockcorry village, to arrive at Holy Trinity Church, Rockcorry, for private funeral Mass at 12 noon. The death has occurred of Pat McGivney, Brackly, Laragh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Friday, 2nd July 2021, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his family at his residence. Predeceased by his brother Michael, sister Kitty and nephew Martin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, daughters Carmel, Fidelma and Lorna, grandchildren Keeley, Hollie and Luke, brother Francie (Carrickmacross), sisters-in-law Nancy and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect for Government Guidelines, Pat will repose among family and friends until his removal on Monday the 5th of July to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Lisdoonan, for Requiem Mass at 11am, which will be celebrated privately by his family (limited to 50). Burial afterwards in adjoining new Cemetery.

The death has occurred of June Ward (née Ackland). Drummond Otra, Carrickmacross, 3rd July 2021. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Earlsbrook House Nursing Home, Bray. Predeceased by her husband Frank. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family, sons Kieran & Mark, daughters-in-law Nuala & Gemma, her adored grandchildren Simon, Jason, Laura, Zachary, Rebecca, Christian & Oliver, her sister Doreen (New Zeland), her brother Gordon (England), her sister-in-law Sr. Gemma, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
