Bridget Owens (née Malanaphy)

Tiercahan, Swanlinbar, Cavan

Peacefully, at The South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Andrew, mother of the late Michael, daughter of the late Michael and Alice, Malanaphy, Kinawley. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Aiden, Gabriel, Gene (Martina), nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law relatives and friends.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Remains reposing at her family home from 5pm until 9.30pm Monday evening. House private at all other times. Her remains will arrive at Saint Mary's Church, Swanlinbar, on Tuesday for 11am Mass of the Resurrection. Burial afterwards in Killaduff Cemetery. Due to HSE and Governments guidelines, there are only 50 people allowed in the church.

Those who would like to attend but are unable to do so are asked to leave their condolences for the family in the condolences section below.Those who wish to show their support along the route are asked to do so by social distancing in a safe manner. Bridget's family wish to express their appreciation for your understanding at this difficult time.

Mary Sheenan (née Mc Caffrey)

Dublin Rd, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Mary Sheenan, née Mc Caffrey, Dublin Rd., Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Sunday, 4th July 2021. Predeceased by her husband Eugene and daughter-in-law Denise. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Betty, sons Eugene and Damien, her grandchildren Lisa, Scott, Jean, Tara, Stephen, Niall, Niamh and Eoin. Sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Elise, son-in-law Gerry, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private Funeral Mass will take place for family in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary's Funeral Mass will be available to view online at 10am on Thursday morning, 8th July on the following link: www.kingscourtparish.ie

Mary's funeral cortège will start from her home on Thursday morning at 9.30am, travelling via Church Street, Main Street, Lower Main Street and Hall Street. Friends and neighbours are welcome to line that route in a socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

Michael Smith

Clontarf, Dublin / Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Smith Michael, (Clontarf and late of Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan) – 5th, July 2021 – (peacefully) in the loving care of his family at the Mater Private Hospital; beloved husband of the late Margaret, father of Michelle and Frank, adored and cherished grandad of Ronan and Colm and brother of the late Paddy, Benny, Jim and Peggy. Deeply regretted by his loving family, son-in-law Paul, sisters Bridget, Kathleen and Ann, brothers Philip and Tom, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but cannot due to current restrictions, may leave a personal message on www.kirwans.ie

Tomiska, Magheracloone, Monaghan / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sean Martin Doogan, Tomiska, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, suddenly, 5th July, 2021. Predeceased by his parents Madge and Jack, his infant sister Regina, and his sister Bridget. Deeply regretted by wife Teresa, his daughters Claire (David), Joanne (Sean) and Danielle (Michael), his sons Rory (Suzanne) and Shane (Susan). Sadly missed by his sisters Margaret and Regina, brothers Patrick and Ignatius, brother-in-law P.J, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pat Gilsenan

Hillhall, Glaslough, Monaghan

at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, peacefully in the caring company of his family.

Predeceased by his wife Maura.

Dearly loved and missed by his children John, Patrick, Emer, Peter, Gráinne, Bryan and Irene, sisters Kay and Jane, brother Brian, 21grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends, all over the world.

Conor Nelson

Nafferty, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Conor Nelson, Nafferty, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, on Friday 2nd July 2021, after a prolonged illness. Greatly missed by his mother, grandmother, extended family and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Conor will repose at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, on Tuesday 6th, from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning 7th, to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
