John O'Reilly

Duncollog, Lisboduff, Cootehill, Cavan

John O'Reilly, Duncollog, Lisboduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Died 6 July 2021, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted by his brothers Jimmy and Tony, his sisters Patricia Casey and Rosemary (Molly) Feeney, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, from 5pm to 7pm this Wednesday evening. Funeral cortège to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Bunnoe, for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock this Thursday, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

In accordance with Government restrictions on public gatherings and social distancing, John's funeral Mass and burial will be restricted to 50 people, but can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/bunnoe

Family homes private at all times, please.

Maureen Shiels

Knockatudor, Cootehill, Cavan / Newcastle, Dublin

Peacefully in Newcastle. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Margaret, and sister of the late Michael, Peggy, Anna, Eugene and John Edward. Sadly missed by her brother Pat, sister Dympna, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and her wonderful carers and so many dear friends in Castlelyon.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at the home of her brother and sister-in-law Pat & Nancy Shiels, Knockatudor tomorrow, Wednesday, from 3pm until 7pm for family, neighbours and close friends. Removal on Thursday to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Laragh for Funeral Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to current government guidelines, Maureen’s Funeral Mass is restricted to 50 people. The Mass can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/cavan

Those standing along the route are asked to do so safely and responsibly.

Vincent Heavin

Castleblayney, Monaghan / Athlone, Westmeath

The death has occurred of Vincent Heavin, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan and formerly Ories, Fardrum, Athlone, Co. Westmeath

Tuesday 6th July 2021, Vincent passed away peacefully at home in the care of his loving family. Vincent is deeply missed by his beloved wife Mary, his adored children Eddie, Faela, Robert, Marese, Dermot and Auriel. Daughters in law Paula, Roisin, and Ana, sons in law Brian and Stephen, and his 12 precious grandchildren. Vincent will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of good and dear friends.

Vincent is predeceased by his parents Edward and Elizabeth, his brothers John, Denis, Paddy, James, and his sisters Ellen and Frances.

Vincent will repose at his home among his family and friends. In keeping with Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a family funeral will take place for Vincent. The funeral cortège will leave from the family home in Laurel Hill on Thursday morning (July 8th) at 11 am approx. - arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem mass at 11:30 am with burial afterward in St Mary’s Cemetery.
