Pat Hannigan, Drumsillagh, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Formerly of Brookville House, Lappanduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Died suddenly on 20th July, 2021. Predeceased by his parents Mary Kate and Tom Patrick, his sisters Claire and Kitty, brothers Tom, Peter, Stephen and Sean. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing brother Fr. James and sisters Nuala, Therese and Marcella, his sister-in-law Marie, brother-in-law Michael, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tullyco, Cootehill, Cavan

Suddenly at her residence. Recently deceased by her husband Stephen. Sadly missed and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Pamela, sister Margaret Smith, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence from 9pm tonight for family, neighbours & close friends until removal tomorrow, Thursday, to arrive at St Brigid's Church, Laragh for funeral at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Betty's funeral can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/laragh

Snugborough, Ballyconnell, Cavan

PJ O'Reilly, Snugborough, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, July 20th 2021 suddenly at his residence. Son of the late Frank & Helena. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Maureen(Fitzpatrick), Teresa(Bannon), brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family & friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow (Thursday) from 5 o'clock until 9 o'clock for family, neighbours & friends only.

House private at all other times please.

Removal on Friday arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell for Funeral Mass at 3 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to covid 19 guidelines the funeral mass will be for family and friends only with up to 50 people in attendance.

Jane (Jean) Kerr (née Porter)

Drollagh, Mullyash, Castleblayney, Monaghan, A75 E840

The death has occurred of Jane (Jean) Kerr née Porter, Drollagh, Mullyash, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, formerly of Avondale, Co. Wicklow. Tuesday 20th July 2021.

Peacefully at home in the care of her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Edward (Ned), Mum, Dad, sisters, Maggie, Lil and Moll, brothers, Billy, Paddy, John, Dick and Miley. Nieces, Nephews and Grandson.

Loved and sadly missed by her children, Kathleen and John, grandchildren Darren, Colin, Michael, Jonathan, Niall, Aiden, Rhiannon and Laura, her eight cherished great-grandchildren, sister Kathleen, son-in-law Gerry, daughter-in-law Margaret, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Jean will repose at her home in Drollagh, A75 E840, until her removal on Friday morning travelling via McKelvey"s Grove and Big Tom's at 11am approx. arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Oram for requiem mass at 11:30am. with burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery where Jean will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Ned.

In keeping with Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a family funeral will take place for Jean.

Kathleen McCluskey (née Deery)

Annyaulty, Ballinode, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Kathleen McCluskey, nee Deery, Annyaulty, Ballinode, Co. Monaghan and formerly Carnaquill, Knockatallon, Wednesday, 21st July, peacefully at her residence, in her 90th year, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her daughter Kay. Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 60 years, Peter and daughters Ann (Fintan Rowe) & Mary (Tony McGloin). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Amy, Matthew, Luke, Mark & Bobby, brother Charlie Deery, Old Cross Square, Monaghan, sisters in law Anna Deery & Margaret Deery, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Kathleen's funeral Mass will take place in St. Mary's Church, Urbleshanney, Scotstown, Friday, 23rd July, at 12 noon (limited to 50 mourners only), burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery; Funeral will be streamed live on - 'Tydavnet Parish RC Churches' Facebook page. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.

Moyles, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Sadly missed by his wife Bridie, son Oliver, daughters Joanne and Edel, sons in law Theo and Damien, daughter in law Susan, grandchildren Ethan, Kaiden, Callum, Alexis, Brandon, Shane, Michaela, Cameron, Caitlin. Adrianna and baby Cliona, sisters Helen, Maureen and Rita, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home. Removal on Friday at 10.15 a.m. arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan. House and funeral private to family and close friends due to Covid 19 restrictions.
