Major power outage in Cavan Belturbet area
Over 2,200 households and businesses in the wider Cavan Belturbet area are without power this evening following a major power outage.
ESB technicians have been dispatched to determine the cause and restore power as quickly as possible.
The current estimate for restoration on ESB Networks Powercheck app is 12:30am.
A total of 2,230 customers are affected.
The affected area includes the Loreto Road and Carrickane area, which takes in some larger residential estates.
