"Longer than normal queues can be expected," as a result of the reopening, Cavan County Council posted on social media; while advising that motor tax business can still be conducted online at http://motortax.ie and most queries and payments can be conducted by email at info@cavancoco.ie or phone 049-4378300.

As Covid restrictions continue to ease, from today (Thursday) August 5, up to 100 guests can attend weddings and baptisms can take place. However gatherings after christenings are not recommended.

Events after a funeral service should continue to follow public health measures on household mixing, including visitors to your home and indoor and outdoor dining.
