Blustery this morning with fresh and gusty westerly winds, strong near coasts, reports Met Éireann for Cavan. There will be sunny spells and scattered showers, with showers heaviest and most frequent in the west. Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees.

Southwesterly winds will ease light to moderate overnight though staying fresher along coasts. There will be clear spells and scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.

Tomorrow

Largely dry tomorrow morning with just well scattered showers. Cloud will build from the south through the morning with rain in the south of the province during the afternoon, turning showery in the evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees. Moderate westerly winds will decrease light to moderate southeasterly through the day.
