Carmel Kelly (née Lunn)

Carmel, peacefully at home in the loving care of her family.

Beloved wife of the late Michael and predeceased by her parents George and Kathleen Lunn and her sister Kathleen Breaden.

Much loved mother of Marion, Ronan, Carmel (Hanley), Deirdre and Ciaran. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, grandchildren Aislinn, Shane, Mark, Siona, Conor, Rory, Ruth, Molly and Niamh, her great grandchildren Olivia, Zoey, Harry, Aidan, Finn, Fia and Ryan, son-in-law Shane, daughter-in-law Andrea, cousins Paddy, Anna and Sean, nieces and nephews, good neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government restrictions, Carmel’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family and close friends at 3pm on Sunday August 29th in St. Mel’s Cathedral, followed by a private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but due to the current restrictions cannot, may view the mass on the parish webcam on www.longfordparish.com

Ciaran Mc Carthy

Stonebridge Court, Cavan Town, Cavan / Dunshaughlin, Meath

Peacefully, at Cavan General hospital.

Ciaran will be sadly missed by his brother Declan, sister-in-law Jane, his nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours in Cavan and Dunshaughlin and his friends.

Ciaran will repose at Mc Entaggart's Funeral Home, Dunshaughlin (A85 DE70) from 5pm until 7pm on Monday.

(Those attending are asked to adhere to covid guidelines regarding gatherings).

A private family funeral will be held on Tuesday.

Hannah Scott (nee Boyle) Kilmore Lower, Cavan. Friday, August 27th 2021, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Beloved wife and best friend of Walter.

Remembered with love by her husband, brother John, sister-in-law Sadie, carers, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Resting at Lakeland Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Tuesday 31st from 12pm until 2.15pm for family, neighbours and close friends.

All social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Funeral cortege leaving Lakeland Funeral Home, via Drumlion, Breandrum and Kilmore Lower, to arrive at St. Fethlimidh's Cathedral, Kilmore, for funeral service at 3.00pm, restricted to 50 people, with burial afterwards in Kilmore Cathedral Parish Graveyard.

Beloved mother of Hannah, Erin and Karl, daughter of Rosaleen and Hughie, sister of Yvonne, Gene and Stephen and partner to Donal.

Reposing at her home from 9.00p.m. this evening (Friday) until removal on Monday morning at 10.15a.m. to arrive at St. Tierney’s Church, Roslea for Funeral Mass at 11.00a.m. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, Funeral Mass and burial will be for family and friends only. Anyone wishing to pay their respects along the route may do so adhering to social distance guidelines.

Peacefully at her home in her 97th year. Surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Jack, grandson baby John, parents Edward and Annie and her brothers.

Sadly, missed by her loving family, son John, daughters Mary (Morgan), Ann (Fitzsimons), Bridie (Caffrey), Rosie (Heary), brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Claire, sons-in-law, Paddy, EJ, Joe and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home Monday 30th August (A82RR67) from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal from her home on Tuesday morning 31st August for 11am Funeral Mass in Saint Ciaran’s Church, Carnaross, with burial afterwards in the Holy Family Cemetery.

Chris Farrell (née Coyle)

Farrell - (nee Coyle), (Trim, Co. Meath and late of Olcastle and The Corskeagh Lounge, Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon). August 28th 2021 - (peacefully) at home in the loving care of her family following a long illness bravely fought.

Predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth and her brothers Charles, Michael and Vincent.

She will be very sadly missed by her loving family, husband Jackie, daughters Ann and Terri, sons Raymond, John, Richard, Daniel and Gene, son-in-law John Kerrane,daughters-in-law Siobhan and Michelle, John's partner and carer Trish Murphy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Jack, Jim and Paddy, sisters Mary and Roseline,nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law sisters-in-law relatives, friends and all who loved her.

Chris will lie in repose in her home in Trim Sunday evening from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock and on Monday evening in The Gibbons Funeral Home Ballinagare from 4 o'clock to conclude with evening prayer at 7 o'clock. Both are limited to family and close friends, please.

Funeral will arrive to St. Asicus' Church Frenchpark Tuesday afternoon for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm with burial afterwards in Tibohine (new) Cemetery

The death has occurred of James Sherlock, Drumguiney, Monaghan and formerly Toneyclay, Tydavnet. Friday, 27th August, peacefully at Drumbear Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by his sister Liz Sherry and her husband Jimmie.

James' remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale H18 FK80, on Saturday from 4 - 6pm and Sunday from 4 - 6pm (please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all time).
