If so, the Digital Marketing Traineeship in Monaghan Institute is the course for you. Through the traineeship, you will learn to use the industry standard software suite Adobe, complete nationally and internationally recognised qualifications, all while working with an employer. There are no fees for this qualification, and you may receive a training bursary while studying.

CMETBs traineeship in Digital Marketing based in Monaghan Institute is starting in September, this course offers an industry specific qualification and is aimed at learners entering the digital marketing sector, as well as those already working in these areas who are looking to renew their skills with formal training.

Trainees will spend three days studying in Monaghan Institute and two days developing digital marketing skills in the workplace. Previous graduates of the course have completed placements with McAree Engineering, Sky Rocket Media, Cocktails for You, The Squealing Pig, Hollyblue Boutique, Mantra Living, TCS Trade Sales, Sound Quality Gifts and Ronaghan’s Pharmacy.

What will you learn?

Throughout the course, there will be emphasis on creating and maintaining websites, designing images, posters, animations and video for use online, creating and managing social media platforms and developing project management skills. You will also learn how to use modern techniques such as analytics to understand online marketing campaigns.

“The main reason I chose this Traineeship was because I lacked first-hand ‘practical’ experience in digital marketing," said traineeship graduate, Niall Treanor. "I graduated from Sligo IT in Business and Marketing and found when I was going for interviews with employers, the feedback I was getting, showed I lacked the experience. This traineeship has provided me with that experience. It has also developed my skills in video marketing, graphic design and web design. After completing the traineeship, I gained employment with Cavan-based web design company Opus Design.”
