Main Street, Killeshandra, Cavan

Fergus McMenamin, Main Street, Killeshandra, 8th September 2021, suddenly at Cavan General Hospital, following a road accident. Predeceased by his parents James M.P.S.I. and Mona. Deeply regretted by his cousins, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace.

Francie Cassidy

Dundalk Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Francie Cassidy. Dundalk Road, Carrickmacross, 8th September 2021. Suddenly, surrounded by his beloved family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his infant daughter Susan & his son Terry. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his wife Bríd, his son Shane & daughters Karen (McArdle) & Kim (Kerley), daughters-in-law Anita & Noeleen, sons-in-law Damien & Brian, his adored grandchildren Alanna, Eva, Kyle, Harry, Hallie, T-Jay, Francie, Jack, Charlie, Tom, Ríain & Fionn, his brother Paddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, via donation box or directly to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Francie will repose at his home among family and friends on Friday, 10th September, from 12pm until 9pm. Please continue to follow HSE & government guidelines, wear masks & observe social distancing.

Francie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, on Saturday, 11th September, at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross. In accordance with most recent guidelines the capacity of the Church is limited to 50%.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Francie's funeral cortège leaves his home on Saturday at 10:40am proceeding on foot via Farney Street to St. Joseph's Church.

As a mark of respect to Francie, 'Cassidy's Circle K' & 'Cassidy's Tir Chonaill' will remain closed on Saturday, 11th September.

Seamus Connolly

AbbeyGrove, Navan, Meath / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Seamus Connolly, (Seamus Connolly Catering Ltd), AbbeyGrove, Navan and formerly Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. Predeceased by his parents James and Maisie, and sister Margaret. Seamus will be sadly missed by his loving wife Joan, son Gareth and daughter Gráinne Jane, brothers Paddy and Richard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, staff, suppliers, customers of Seamus Connolly Catering Ltd and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Mass for Seamus will be held in St. Mary's Church, Navan, on Saturday, 11th September 2021, at 2pm, which can be viewed on www.navanparish.ie/livestream. Burial of ashes afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Navan. In line with current Government / HSE advice, social distancing to be observed at all times.

Patricia McKenna (née Treanor)

No 1 Milltown Cottage, Gallanagh, Tullyvogey, Tydavnet, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patricia McKenna nee Treanor, No 1 Milltown Cottage, Gallanagh, Tullyvogey, Tydavnet, Co.Monaghan. Thursday 9th September peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Mary & Owen Treanor, sisters Josephine & Cecila and brother Anthony.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Stephen & Christopher, daughters, Karen, Paula, Selina & Shauna and their father Gabriel, grandchildren, Rebecca, Mikayla, Josh, Nathan, Sophie, Scarlett, Jamie, Isla, Lewis & Olivia, brothers and sisters, Bridget, Jim, Micheal, Martin, Gerald, Francis, Elizabeth & Rita, her partner Lloyd, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Patricia's funeral mass will take place on Saturday morning at 10am at St.Dympna's Church, Tydavnet (limited to 50 family/friends only), burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral mass will be streamed live on 'Tydavnet Parish RC Churches' Facebook page. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Hope Monaghan c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.

Due to current restrictions, Patricia's house will be private. Mourners are welcome to line the route as Patricia's funeral cortege makes its way from Tullvogey, Tydavnet H18 RR96 to the church on Saturday morning (please adhere to social distancing guidelines).

Pauline Morgan (née Cunningham)

35 Park Rd., Drumillard, Castleblayney, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Pauline Morgan (nee Cunningham), No. 35 Park Rd, Drumillard, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Wednesday September 8th, peacefully at The Beacon Hospital Dublin, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Benny and Eileen. Pauline, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, husband Dermot, daughter Edel, sons Niall and Ronan, son in-law Stephen (Mc Cabe), her cherished grandchildren Ruarc and Ewan, brothers Brian and Tommy, sisters Marie, Valerie, Eileen and Tricia, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Pauline will repose at home among her family and friends tomorrow Friday from 4pm until 8pm. Pauline’s funeral cortège will travel from her home on Saturday morning at 11am proceeding on foot to arrive at St Mary’s Church Castleblayney for funeral mass at 11:30am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House private at all other times and family flowers only please, donations if desired to Castleblayney Cancer Society C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
