John (Johnny) Greene

Ramonan, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Peacefully, in the loving care of his family and nursing staff at St Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia, Tuesday, 14th of September.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen.

Deeply regretted by his loving family Martina (Simon), Catherina (Scott), Fiona, Lorraine (Milles), John (Jay), Raymond, Patrick (Bernie), Mark (Pauline) his much loved grandchildren and his great-grandchild relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff. Interment afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Oldcastle Road.

Due to HSE guidelines & Government restrictions numbers will be reduced for those attending the funeral Mass.

Please follow the guidelines regarding social distancing at all times.

14 September 2021, 7 Pinebrook, Derrylin BT92 9BN, peacefully, dear wife of Andrzej and loving mother of Jakub & Michal, daughter of Jerzy, sister of Boguslaw, Asia (Janisiewicz), Marek & Andrzej.

Remains reposing at her home until removal on Thursday morning at 10.45 am to arrive for 11.00 am Requiem Mass in St Ninnidh's Church, Derrylin, followed by Mass & committal at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1 pm.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, father, brothers, sister & extended family circle.

House open to family & friends for brief visits Wednesday 12 noon to 10pm.

Funeral Mass's in Derrylin & Cavan as per current Covid guidelines.

Catherine Harte (née Lynch)

Cloonlougher, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

In her 94th year of Cloonlougher, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim.

Predeceased by her husband Hugh.

Sadly missed by her sons Patrick and Eamonn, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from her family home on Friday morning for Funeral Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Killargue at 12 noon followed by burial in Cloonlougher Cemetery. Due to Government restrictions on public gatherings, the family home and Funeral Mass will be restricted to family, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Arus Breffni Patient Comfort Fund.

Tommy Mawn

Dargoon, Coolegrain, Dowra, Leitrim

Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital.

Sadly missed by his sister Mary Walsh London, nephews Maurice, David and James, cousin Jim Mooney, extended family neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass in St. Columcille’s Church, Newbridge, Dowra, Thursday at 12 o’clock followed by burial afterwards in Newbridge Cemetery.

Due to current guidelines the church is limited to 50% capacity while also adhering to social distancing.

Kathleen McTeigue (née Horan)

Tullynaha, Ballinaglera, Leitrim

Peacefully on Tuesday, Sept 14th 2021 at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy.

Sadly, missed by her sisters Bridie Horan (Aughnasheelin), Peggy Grier (Gortletteragh), Helen Brady (Cavan), and Matilda Fitzgerald (New Hampshire, USA), brother Michael Horan (Aughnasheelin), brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in the Church Morgue, St Patrick's Community Hospital, Carrick on Shannon from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 15th September.

Funeral mass on Thursday 16th September at 2pm, at St. Hugh's Ballinaglera, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions and in accordance with government advice, attendance in the Church is limited to 50% capacity.

Please wear face masks, refrain from handshaking, and adhere to Social Distancing on all occasions.

Ann Blake (née Cahill)

Cruicetown, Kilmainhamwood, Meath

The death has occurred of Ann (Nan) Blake (nee Cahill) of Cruicetown, Kilmainhamwood, Kells, peacefully at her residence.

Predeceased by her husband George and son Martin.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters, Imelda, Geraldine, Helen & Siobhan, her sons, George, Oliver & Declan, sons-in-law Martin, Abbey, Victor & Enda, daughters-in law Kate & Lisa, her ten grandchildren & five great-grandchildren, her sister Carmel, her brother Peter, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and many good friends.

Reposing at her home from 2pm until 9pm on Wednesday, 15th of September, for family and close friends. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 16th September, at 11am in the Church of the Scared Heart, Kilmainhamwood followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Nan's Funeral Mass will be available to view online on the Belltron app under Kilmainhamwood Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society.

James Byrne

Glassmullagh, Emyvale, Monaghan

Tuesday, 14th September, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by his brothers Pat & John and sisters Annie, Mary, Kate & Bridget. James will be sadly missed by his sister Eilean O'Neill, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

James' remains will repose at his niece Margaret O'Callaghan's, Glassmullagh, Emyvale (window viewing only) until removal on Thursday evening to arrive at St.Patrick's Church, Clara for 6.30pm. Funeral mass on Friday morning at 11am (limited to 50 family/friends), burial afterwards in The Holy Family Cemetery, Ballyoisin.

Mourners are welcome to pay their respects as James' funeral cortège travels to the church on Thursday evening or on the way to Ballyoisin on Friday morning.

Vincent (Oscar) Connor

Peacefully at his residence, in the loving care of his family.

Predeceased by his mother Agnes, father Bernard, daughter Patricia, son Gary, grandson Keith, brothers Benny, Gerard, Mickey and John. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, daughters Mairead, Bernie, Jennifer, Lorraine and Kera, son Martin, sisters Bridgie, Phyllis and Bernie, and brother Paddy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence in the presence of his family and close friends.

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Vincent’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends.
