Cloudy start to give way to sunny spells

Cloudy and dull to start today with scattered patches of light rain and drizzle. It will brighten up through the afternoon, with sunny spells developing as drizzle patches become more isolated. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees in moderate southwest winds.

Further patches of light rain and drizzle will develop tonight, with clear spells also. Becoming breezy in moderate to fresh southerly winds. Mild with temperatures not falling below 13 to 15 degrees.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow will start largely dry apart from lingering patches of drizzle. There will be sunny spells early on but it will turn cloudier by afternoon as rain spreads eastwards across the province through the afternoon and evening, becoming heavy at times. The rain will clear from the west of the province later in the afternoon, with cooler, fresher conditions following behind. Blustery with fresh and gusty southerly winds, easing light variable as the rain clears. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees.
