September 26th 2021, peacefully, at his home in his 94th year. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Jean, sons Tony (Cavan town), Peter (Killarney, Kerry), Pat (Clones, Monaghan), Gabriel (Belcoo, Fermanagh), Roddy (Bawnboy), sister Anna May (Birmingham), daughters-in-law Mary, Mairead, Deirdre, Kathleen & Martina, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family & friends.

Removal on Tuesday morning at 11.15am, arriving at St Mogue's Church, Bawnboy, via Breffni Care Centre, Ballyconnell, for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to government & HSE guidelines the funeral mass will be limited to 50% church capacity. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan Palliative Care. Sadie O'Reilly (née Brady)

28 Main Street, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Sadie O'Reilly, 28 Main Street, Kingscourt, Co Cavan, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday 25th September, 2021. Predeceased by her loving husband Cecil, her brothers PF and Seán. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her much loved and heartbroken children, Marie, Imelda, Brendan, Elaine, Dominic, Fidelma, Michelle and Fintan. Sadie will be sadly missed by her sisters Phyllis, Nana, Kathleen, Lily, Carmel, Patricia and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, cherished friends and neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace.

Removal from her home on Monday evening, via Main Street and Hall Street, to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, arriving at 7pm. Peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff of Mullinahinch House Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret and his son Derek.

Sadly missed by his daughter Ann, his sons Paul and Keith, grandchildren Gary, Karen, Declan, Raymond, Gerard, Christopher, Cian, Tiarnan and Amy, great grandchildren, sisters Josephine and Mary, son in law Gerry (Sweeney), daughters in law Olive and Paula and the entire family circle, relatives and friends.

Mickie (Michael) Meegan

Drumavaddy, Broomfield, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mickie (Michael) Meegan, Drumavaddy, Broomfield, Co Monaghan, Sunday 26th September 2021 peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Mickie will repose privately at home among his family and friends.

Loved and sadly missed by his devoted wife Ann, son Tom, daughters Geraldine and Joan, sons-in-law, James and Willy, daughter-in-law, Sheena, twelve adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a family funeral will take place for Mickie. The funeral cortège will leave from the family home on Tuesday morning (Sept 28th) at 11 am approx. - arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem Mass at 11:30 am with burial afterward in St Mary’s Cemetery.
