Nora Browne née Curran. Crossforts, Cavan and late of Ballyknock, Dungarvan, Co Waterford. Beloved wife of Liam and dear mother of James, Sarah, Paul and Stephen and cherished godson Tommy. Pre-deceased by her father Martin, sister Theresa brother Martin and sister in law Mary. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, daughter in law Ciara, her adored granddaughters, Alice, Rosie-mae and Saoirse, her heart broken mother Sheila, sister Kay and brother Laurence, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands funeral home, tomorrow Monday from 6.00pm until 8.30pm. Removal from her home on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St Mary's Church Ballyhaise, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin road, Cavan.

Bernard (Barney) Garry

Dungimmon, Mountnugent, Cavan

The death has occurred of Bernard (Barney) Garry, aged 81 years old, peacefully at home surrounded by loving family, after a long illness borne bravely. Barney, the beloved husband and best friend of Mary (nee McEnroe), adored father to Kathleen (Kate), Christopher and Adrian. Beloved father in law to Aisling and grandfather to Amelia, Senán and Rían. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Christopher Garry, sister Kitty Lynch and brother Christy. Deeply missed by his sister Chrissie Murray, brothers in law Noel Murray and Con McEnroe and sister in law Ann Fox. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his home on Monday from 2pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday in Mountnugent Church at 11 am with burial immediately afterwards in Ballinacree Cemetery. The death has occurred of Terence Smith, Lismullig, Poles, Co. Cavan, aged 83 years, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness battled bravely. Predeceased by his parents Terence & May (nee Bray), Clondargan and brother Patsy (Corgreagh).

Terry, husband of Philomena (nee Tierney), father to Tadgh, Aoife, Eoin and Nollaig, father in-law to Claire and grandfather to Hannah. Deeply missed by sister Anna Grogan, brother Luke, brothers-in-law Paddy Grogan and Fr. Tadgh Tierney (Perth, Australia), and sisters-in-law Marina Cleary and Joan O’Meara, and her husband Paddy. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews relatives and friends.

Éilís McKevitt (née King) Carlingford and formerly Doohamlet, Co. Monaghan. Passed peacefully at home surrounded by her devoted family. Beloved wife of Brendan and much loved mother of Aoife, Art and Glaisne. Fondly remembered by her son-in-law Philip, daughters-in-law Anne and Sinéad, grandchildren Cillian, Sophia and Sadhbh, brothers and sisters Fr. Geraldine McQuillan (née Kelly)

The death has occurred of Geraldine McQuillan (nee Kelly), Kildoagh, Tyholland, Co. Monaghan (formerly Killykeady, Emyvale). Saturday 2nd October peacefully at her residence in the loving care of her family. Recently pre-deceased by her devoted husband Jock, her parents Willie and Annie Kelly, her brother Jimmy Kelly and sister Alice Reilly.

Geraldine will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family; daughters, Pamela King (Micheál), Laura Treanor (Paul), Sharon Ryan (Alan) and Jacqueline (Michael) and sons, Brendan (Elaine) and Niall (Carol). Sadly missed by her 17 cherished grandchildren, sisters Mary Conneely, Teresa Reynolds, Gertie Dolan and Bernie Sheerin, brothers Liam and Joe, sisters in law, brothers in law and her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
