O'Reilly, Bridget (Bridie) Middletown, Loughduff, Co. Cavan, (nee Reilly, Clonlohan, Kilcogy) Fri 29th Oct, following a short illness at Lisdarn Unit for the elderly, Cavan. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Brian and son-in-law Martin; her sisters Mary Anne, Agnes, Maggie, Rose and her brothers Jimmy, Michael and Hugh. Deeply regretted by her devoted family; son Padraig; daughters Lily and Mairead; grandchildren Keely and Michael; her sister Anna Mae; son-in-law Peter; Padraig's partner Breda; treasured relatives and a large circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Middletown, Loughduff, from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday 30th Oct, with removal to St Josephs Church Loughduff, to arrive for 8pm. Requiem Mass Sunday, 31st October, at 12pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eamonn Brady peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Sadly missed by his wife Mary, sons Cronan and Gareth, daughter Karyn, son in law Eamon, daughter in law Ailish, grandchildren Aoife, Conor and Laoise, brother Eugene, sisters Clarus (McGlynn) and Kathleen (Lavelle), brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Billy sadly passed away in Spain Friday 29th October. Predeceased by his beloved wife Iris. Sadly missed by his loving son David and daughter in Law Margaret and grandchildren Vanessa (Conor) Christopher (Orla) and Zoe. Predeceased by his brothers Moore and Noel and sisters Daphne and Elizabeth. Deeply regretted by his brothers Herbie,Tom and George and his sisters Mavis (Breakey) and Jean (Connolly) and the entire family circle.

Horne Patricia (Tricia, Dr. Pat) (Ranelagh, Dublin, Monaghan, Zambia, Kenya and Nigeria) 29th October 2021 peacefully in the loving and tender care of the staff of the Grange Wing, Ashbury Nursing Home; dearly loved precious twin-sister of Margaret, daughter of the late Dr. Andrew and Delia Horne and sister of the late Andrew Pat. She will be sadly missed by Margaret, her Horne and Moclair cousins, the Rourke and O’Dwyer families, by her dear friends, neighbours and former colleagues.

Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (1st November) at 11.15 o’c in Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Ave. followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Bro. Kevin, Capuchin Day Centre, Dublin 7.

Malachy Lynch, Ard Easmuinn, Dundalk, and formerly of Monaghan Town. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, 28th October 2021. Malachy, son of the late Jack and Sarah, much loved husband of Briege, née Cole, dear father of Rosaleen, Stephen and David, loving grandad of Fergal, Robert, Andrew, Conor, Rachael and Jack and father-in-law of Brendan Kilkenny, Ruth and Joanne and brother of Gabriel, Anna and the late Sarah, Jack, Seamus, Rosaleen, Dolly, Carmel, Dympna and (Malachy’s twin) Oliver. Malachy will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Malachy will repose at his home from 4pm until 8pm on Saturday for family and close friends only. House private at all other times. Removal on Sunday afternoon at 1.15pm to The Church of the Holy Redeemer arriving for Mass at 1.30pm, followed by burial in St Fursey’s Cemetery.

Margaret (Maggie) Mc Phillips (née Kierans)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Mc Phillips, Feagh, Aghabog, Co. Monaghan, Thursday, 28th October 2021, peacefully, at Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet. Predeceased by her husband John and son Laurance, brothers Mick and Jim. Cherished and adored mother of Pat (Mary), Margaret (Paddy Reilly), Seanie (Blainead). Maggie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter, sons, grandchildren, John, Shannon, Aine, Bronagh, Shane and Uainin, great-grandchildren Tommie and Olly, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brother Arthur (Nats), sister Rose (London), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved her.

Maggie will repose at the residence of her son Seanie and daughter-in-law Blainead (Drumbrain, Aghabog) amongst her family, due to COVID-19 restrictions. House strictly private to family, please. Maggie's funeral cortège will travel from Seanie and Blainead's residence at approximately 11.30am to arrive at the St Mary's Chapel, Aghabog, for 12 noon Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, 30th October. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to COVID 19 government restrictions, the Mass and burial will be private to family and friends. For those who wish to pay their respects, please adhere to HSE guidelines and maintain 2m social distance.
