Anthony Dunne

College St., Cavan Town, Cavan / Navan Road, Dublin

Anthony Dunne (retired Dept of Agriculture), Navan Rd., Dublin 7 & formerly of College St., Cavan Town, Tuesday November 2nd 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of his family at his home. Beloved husband of the late Mary Dunne & predeceased by his brothers Brendan & Desmond. Devoted father of Joe, Colette, Alan, Dympna, Tony & Marie. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters in law Rita, Lorraine & Patricia, sons in law Kieran, Kevin & James, his adored grandchildren, Seonaid, Conor, Cecilia, Ronan, Cillian, Shannon, Liam, Alex, Mark, David, Ellen, Aoife, Lareese, Emily, Patrick, Ailish & Sinead, great grandchildren Sofia & Orla, sister, Mrs. Imelda Mullery (Cavan), nieces, nephews, all his relatives & many friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Friday 5th November from 4 pm, concluding with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 6th at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Staghall, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to current restrictions, Anthony's funeral will be private to family.

William Eric Magee

Ardlougher, Ballyconnell, Cavan

Willliam Eric Magee, Ardlougher, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, Wednesday 3rd November peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Eric will be very sadly missed by his loving brothers Ivan and Kenneth, sisters in law Ann and Joan, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Eric will be resting at his residence in Ardlougher tomorrow, Thursday, 4th November, from 5pm until 9pm for family, neighbours and close friends only please. House private outside of reposing times please. Funeral cortege leaving the residence on Friday afternoon at 1.30pm travelling via Carncross arriving at Kildallan Parish Church Eircode H14 Y205 at 2pm for funeral service followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu would be most appreciated to Cardiac Failure Unit Cavan General Hospital c/o Claire McNally or any family member. The family would appreciate your compliance with Government Covid guidelines and your understanding at this sad and difficult time.

John Joe Traynor, Tievenaman, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Wednesday November 3rd 2021, peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Joe & Mary. Beloved husband of Una. Devoted father of Donal & Emmett, brothers Eugene & James, sisters Kathleen (Sr. Tarcisius Poor Clare's, Newry) & Rosie. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, daughters-in-law Joanne & Sinead and his adored grandchildren; Muireann, Senan, Dan & Jill, nieces, nephews, all his relatives & many friends.

Reposing at Clarkes Funeral Home, Shercock Rd., Beckscourt, Bailieboro on Thursday, 4th November, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and afterwards private to family at his home in Tievenaman, Killinkere.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday November 5th at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Clanaphilip, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mourners are asked to please adhere to public health guidelines whilst congregating and maintain a social distance at all times.

Sheila Connolly (née Allen)

Ballybay Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sheila Connolly (née Allen). Ballybay Road & formerly Main Street, Carrickmacross. 3rd November 2021. In her 97th year. Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. Predeceased by her infant daughter Teresa, her parents Patrick & Catherine and her eleven siblings. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her husband Peter, her daughters Mary (Courtney) & Angela (Bagge, Sweden), her sons-in-law Michael & Robin, her cherished grandchildren James, Eimear, Michaela, Orlaith, Oisín, Jasmine, Peter & Daniel, her great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Sheila will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Thursday, 4th November, from 6pm until 8pm. Please adhere to continued HSE & government guidelines, wear face coverings & observe social distancing.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Sheila's funeral cortège leaves her home, Ballybay Road, on Friday at 10:30am driving via Ballybay Road & proceeding on foot via the Shirley Arms Hotel to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross.

Stephen White

Jarlath Road, Cabra, Dublin / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

White (Jarlath Road, Cabra, Dublin. Late of Alderwood, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan) 1st November 2021. Suddenly at his residence. Stephen, beloved son to the late John and Dora, he will be very sadly missed by wife Jagoda, his loving children Chloe and Sean, sisters and brothers Sharon, Aileen, Glen, John and Annette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends especially his colleagues in Boylan Print.
