Shannow, Ballinagh, Cavan

Wednesday, November 3rd 2021, peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family at Beaumount Hospital, Dublin.

Now reunited with his beloved daughter Jill.

Dearly beloved husband & best friend of Margaret and dear father of Nigel (Fiona), Alan (Diane), Lynn (Michael) and the late Jill’s Partner, Martin. Adored Grandchildren, Abbie, Thomas, Jade, Mia, Jason and Finn, Sister Yvonne (Gordon). Remembered with love by his wife, sons, daughter, partners, daughters-in-law, sister, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Resting at Lakelands Funeral home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow, Friday evening, from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Facemasks are required & social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Funeral cortage will leave the family home on Sunday at 1.30pm arriving at St Patrick’s Parish Church, Ballintemple for funeral service at 2pm followed by private family cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan at 3.30pm.

Family flowers only please.

Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Cancer Research and St Patrick’s Church, Ballintemple C/O William Foster Funeral Director, Ricehill, Crossdoney, Cavan or any family member.

House Private at all times please.

All those attending the funeral service or standing along the route as a mark of respect, please adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Jean Earnshaw

Wednesday 3rd November, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Jean will be very sadly missed by her daughter Alex, son Stephen, granddaughter Avery, son-in-law Robbie, sister Pat, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and her precious cats Mouse and Gidget.

A celebration of Jean's life will take place in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Sunday, 7th November, at 2pm followed by cremation for family, relatives and friends.

Hubert Gaffney

Foxrock, Dublin / Crosserlough, Cavan

November 3rd 2021, peacefully in Beacon Hospital, Sandyford. Hubert, beloved husband of the late Pauline and loving father of Lucy.

Sadly missed by his daughter, son-in-law Gerard (Maguire), granddaughters Sarah and Rachel, his sisters Rosaleen, Bridie and Lucy, extended family and friends. Remembering also his late sister Maura.

Ellen Todd (nee McElroy),County Care Home, Enniskillen, and formerly Trasna Way, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh.

Died Wednesday 3rd November 2021 peacefully in the presence of her sons and staff of County Care Home.

Wife of the late Eddie (R.I.P.) and devoted mother to Noel (Anne) and Dessie (Jean). Sister of Patsy (Lynch) and Kate (Akimbo) Predeceased by her siblings John,Terry, Gene, Mickey, Josie and Mary.

Ellen will repose at the Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Home, Brookeborough Road, Lisnaskea on this evening (Wednesday) from 6pm until 9pm and again tomorrow (Thursday) from 6pm until 9pm with removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to arrive at Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea for 11 am Requiem Mass.

Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Maguiresbridge.

Ellen will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters-in law Anne and Jean, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, sisters-in-law Pam and Dympna, brother-in-law,Jimmy, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of family and friends.

Thursday, 4th November 2021, unexpectedly abroad.

Cherished husband of Mary and adored father of Michael, Emma and Jack.

Mickey will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, sons, heartbroken parents Kathleen and Francis, sisters Bernie and Mary, brothers Gerry, Paddy, Francis,Sean and Kieran, Aunts, Uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved him.
