Sherry FitzGerald announces new opening in Cavan

Sherry FitzGerald, Ireland’s largest estate agent has announced a new franchise partnership in Virginia, Co Cavan. Geraldine O’Reilly Auctioneers, now trading as Sherry FitzGerald Geraldine O’Reilly, is already a highly regarded estate agency firm in Virginia and its surrounds.

Joining Sherry FitzGerald means Geraldine O’Reilly and her team can augment the excellent service they currently offer by way of the Sherry FitzGerald nationwide network, one of the most-recognised brands in Ireland.

This is a significant move for Geraldine who has built up one of Virginia and south east Cavan’s foremost property companies.

She founded the company in 2006 and, over the past 15 years, she and her team have gained an excellent reputation in the county for providing professional advice based on extensive local knowledge and extremely high standards of customer service.

For Sherry FitzGerald it is equally significant to be commencing a franchise agreement with such a prominent and successful firm.

“We are delighted to have Geraldine join our franchise network,” says Des O’Malley, Head of Sherry FitzGerald Countrywide.

“For us, Geraldine and her team offer their clients the benefit of their vast experience across the property industry, from development appraisals through to general agency and professional services. They have an in-depth knowledge of their local market, and their customer care is second to none. We are proud to partner with another prominent and strategically important player in Cavan.”

Geraldine and her team have worked hard to build the successful property company from the Virginia base and branched out further afield into counties Cavan and Meath.

For her, the move under the Sherry Fitzgerald brand makes good business sense.

“Our partnership with Sherry FitzGerald is the perfect next step for our business: allowing my team’s strong local networks, knowledge and expertise to join forces with the resources, reach and brand of a nationally recognised organisation.

“Given the priority that I place on ensuring the full trust of our clients, it was vital that both sides of this partnership put strong working relationships and a ‘customer first’ strategy at the heart of all decisions. We are delighted to announce this partnership and look forward to a strong and successful future, both for our respective organisations and for our clients.”

Last Friday saw the official launch of the new venture with the cutting of the ribbon at the Main Street office.
