Jim Williamson (Pharmacist) Main Street, Arvagh, Co. Cavan, passed away, peacefully, on December 9th 2021, in the presence of his son, under the care of the staff at St James' Hospital. Pre-deceased by his sister Sandra and parents Eileen and Ted. Deeply missed by his son Jack, sister Patricia, ex-wife Maura, nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, extended family and friends.

Special gratitude to the staff of Cavan General, Beaumont, St Luke's and St James' Hospitals and Esker Lodge Nursing Home, who tirelessly cared for Jim throughout his 15 years battle with prostate cancer. He will be missed by masses and remembered in perpetuity.

Jim will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan, on Sunday, 12th December, open to the public from 5-8pm. Removal the following morning, Monday 13th December, at 11am, with procession via route Killeshandra-Carrigallen-Arvagh, allowing people who wish to stand out. Funeral Mass taking place in Sacred Heart Church Arvagh at 12pm with cremation to follow in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at 2pm.

House Private, please. No flowers, please, donations in lieu of flowers to St Luke's and St James' Hospitals, if so desired.

Bernadine (Ber) GORMLEY

Ballinteer, Dublin / Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

GORMLEY, Bernadine (Ber) – (Ballinteer and formerly of Main Street, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan) 9th December 2021 (peacefully) in the care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Maura. She will be forever missed and always remembered by Ger, Jeanne (Stapleton) and Paddy, Mick and Mary (Gaffney), brother-in-law Pat, nephews Ronan, Tiernan and Fergal, her extended family and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum D14 F3X2 on Sunday (12th December from 4 pm to 6 pm) with strict Covid restrictions in place. Funeral Mass on Monday (13th December) at 12 noon in the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer. Laurie Marie Reilly, Killycasson, Loughduff, who passed away peacefully at The Mater Hospital Dublin. Dearly loved wife of Terry. Sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters Monica and Pauline (Graham), son Sean (Janice), grandchildren Joe, James, Alice, Adam and Cara, brother Laurence (Teresa), Roscommon, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Cavan, this Saturday evening from 5.30pm until 7pm. Removal on Sunday, 12th December, to arrive at St. Joseph's Church, Loughduff, for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Loughduff Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Paddy Connor, Henry Street, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, onThursday, 9th of December 2021. Peacefully, at his residence in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his Father Bernard, Mother Agnes, brothers Benny, Gerard, John, Mickie and Vincent. Deeply Regretted by his Sisters Bridgie, Phyllis and Bernie. Sisters in law Mary, Noeleen, Roisin, Nan and Margaret, Nieces, Nephews, especially Donna who cared so much for Paddy, Cousins and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Corrigan's Funeral Home, The Commons, Castleblayney, in the presence of his family and close friends, today, Friday, from 2pm to 8pm.

HSE guidelines must be adhered to at all times, please. Remains leaving Corrigan's Funeral Home at 10.30am on Saturday, on foot, via Main Street - Henry Street, to St Mary's Church, Castleblayney, for 11am Funeral Mass and burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
