Latest report shows rise in Cavan house prices

It's the latest report examining property prices to be released.

The average asking price for a house in Cavan rose by over 4.5% over the past year.

The latest property price report to be released, this time from myhome.ie and Davy, shows Cavan saw a 4.67% rise in quarter four of 2021 when compared with the same period in the previous year.

The average asking price now stands at €157,000 in Cavan.

Surrounding counties also saw increases but on a more dramatic scale.

Monaghan's average now stands at €170,000, up 19.3% and Meath's is €259,950 - up 10.62%.

Longford saw a 10% rise to €110,000, while Leitrim saw by far the largest increase in the country at 42.73% to stand at €157,000.
