IFA meeting to elect new chairperson

The election of a new chairperson for Cavan IFA is top of the agenda for tonight's AGM.

Cavan IFA County AGM takes place at 8pm this evening (Monday, February 14) in the Lavey Inn, Stradone. The election of county officers will take place, a long with a new county chair, to replace Elizabeth Ormiston.

The Mullagh farmer has completed her four year term as county chair and will step aside tonight.

Guest speakers include Phelim O'Neill, market intelligence/EU specialist with the Irish Farmers' Journal and Frank Brady, newly elected as Ulster North Leinster Regional chairman.
