It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Arthur Carville

Lisdoney, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Arthur Carville, Lisdoney, Castleblayney. Arthur passed away peacefully in Castleross Nursing Home on Sunday 27th of February 2022. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Kathleen, brothers Seamus, Hugh and John, sisters Kathleen, Brigid, Liz, Annie and Mary. Beloved brother of Philomena Buckley, Neily and Eamon. Arthur will be sadly missed and remembered by his sister, brothers, nieces and nephews, extended family and neighbours.

Arthur will be reposing at Corrigan's Funeral Home, The Commons, Castleblayney from 5pm - 8pm on Monday the 28th of February, and from 5pm - 8pm on Tuesday the 1st of March. Remains leaving Corrigan's Funeral Home at 11:25am on Wednesday March 2nd via his family residence at Lisdoney and onto St. Patrick's Church, Oram for funeral Mass at 12 noon and burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Ben Maguire

Drumlaney, Newbliss, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Ben Maguire, Drumlaney, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan. Ben passed away peacefully at home Sunday 27th February surrounded by his sister Ann and niece Anne. Predeceased by his sister Betty (Smith) and brothers Michael, John and Philip. Beloved brother of Ann (Drumlaney) and Alice (Lambe, Scotstown). Ben will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours, large circle of friends and by all who knew and loved Ben.

Private removal tomorrow evening Monday to arrive at St Laobhin's Chapel, Killeevan for 7pm. Ben's Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 1st March at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
