New jobs in Cavan will provide major boost to border region - Humphreys

The announcement of 100 jobs in Cavan will come as a major boost to the border region, says MInister Heather Humphreys.

The Minister for Social Protection visited Breffni Air recently and welcoming the announcement, she stated:

“I want to warmly congratulate Paddy and Yvonne Sheanon and all the management and staff with the brilliant news of 100 jobs near Cavan Town.

“I also want to pay tribute to the IDA and Cavan County Council for the support of this new building.

“Breffni Air is a fantastic company with a workforce which will now grow even further with the addition of these new jobs.

“I was delighted to visit Breffni Air last month along with my colleague. Minister Damien English.

“Paddy and Yvonne have helped build this into a really significant company and employer in Cavan and the border region.

“They have worked with multi-national companies like Intel, Amazon, Tesla and others all over Europe and the UK.

“This is a real success story for County Cavan with 600 staff employed and indirectly.”
