Kevin Colton

Oxford, England and formerly of Kilconny, Belturbet, Co. Cavan

Predeceased by his wife Margaret Anne, parents Frank and Ciss, siblings Martin, Gertie, Vera. Suddenly and peacefully at his home in Oxford, England. Kevin will be sadly missed by his son Eric, his brothers Brendan and Leo, sisters Fidelma, Carmel, Pamela and Miriam, sisters-in-law Theresa and Bernadette, relatives, neighbours colleagues and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Staghall, Belturbet, at 11.30am on Sunday morning, 27th March, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Kathleen Morgan (nee Cassidy)

Sheelin Nursing Home, Mountnugent, formerly of Iniskeen, Co. Monaghan and Blackbush, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath

Thursday, March 24th (peacefully) in The Sheelin Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband John Mannix Morgan. Sadly missed by her family, friends and the staff at Sheelin Nursing Home.

Funeral Mass on Saturday in St. Brigid's Church, Mountnugent at 11am. Interment afterwards in Rathbeggan House Cemetery, Dunshaughlin Co. Meath.

Pete Byrne

Sreenty, Shantonagh, Castleblayney

24th March 2022. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his cherished family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen, his parents Owen & Mary Ann, his brothers Michael, Jim & Gene and his sisters Agnes (Brady) & Sr. Columba Mary.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his sons Gerard, Peter, Colm & Kieran, his daughters Mary (McKenna), Anne (Duffy), Alice (Smith), Patricia (Kieran), Sheila (Singleton) & Margaret, sons-in-law Felix, Pat, Gerry, John, Laurence & John, daughters-in-law Jackie, Bernadette & Annette, his adored thirty one grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren, his brothers Pat & Tom and his sisters Irene (Connolly) & Alice (Keeley), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Pete will repose at his home, Sreenty A75 P380, on Friday, 25th March from 2pm until 9pm. House strictly private at all other times. At the family's request, please wear face coverings.

Pete's funeral cortège will arrive at St. Michael's Church, Corduff on Saturday, 26th March, for Funeral Mass at 12:30pm followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Mary Casey (Mai)

Retired S.R.N. Roinn Cosanta Na h'Eireann in her 91st year.

Mai died peacefully at Midlands Regional Hospital, following a short illness. Late of Derraghanmore, Newtowncashel, Co. Longford, Dublin and Monaghan. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Annie Casey (née Murray), her sister Frances Whearty, her brothers Jim, Sonny and Pat. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Mick and his wife Kathleen, Bill and his wife Sheila, her nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

In accordance with Mai's wishes, cremation ceremony will take place at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Friday 25th at 12.30pm. Memorial Mass will be held in Newtowncashel Church of B.V.M. at a date to be arranged.

Kathleen, Mick, Coilín, Áine and Louise wish to thank the "Irish Homecare" staff for their efficiency and care of Mai over the past 3 years.
