The death has occurred of Una Dowd, 8 Clements Town, Cootehill, Co. Cavan and formerly, 43 Bridge Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, April 1st 2022, peacefully, at College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Christy & Bridie, sister Philomena, brother Anthony and long time partner Patsy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family brother Christopher, sisters Maire (USA), Breege (Gorey Wexford), Sheila (Dublin), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home Cootehill this Monday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock (walk through only also face coverings to be worn). No Shaking Of Hands Please. Funeral Cortege will leave her residence at 8 Clements Town Cootehill Tuesday morning at 10:20am to arrive at St. Michael's Church Cootehill for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery Cootehill. Those who would like to attend but cannot do so may leave a message of condolence for the family in the condolence section below please.

Late of Chiswick, and born in Corlis, Cavan

Passed away, peacefully, aged 58, on 19th March 2022, at Meadow House Hospice, Ealing. Funeral at Our Lady of the Visitation, Greenford, on Monday, 4th April at 10am.

William (Willie) Wells

Sonas, Mullaghland, Mullagh, Cavan

and formerly Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Peacefully at his home Saturday April 2nd. Predeceased by his dear brother Jim. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his beloved son Ally, daughter Aileen, sister Margaret, daughter in law Mary, son in law Paul and his adored grandchildren Alanna, Zhara, Taylor and Finlay, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends.

Resting at The Village Chapel Of Rest, Mullagh, on Thursday evening 7th April from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Service on Friday afternoon, 8th April at 3pm in Mullagh Parish Church (Church Of Ireland). Followed by burial in St. Kilian's Cemetery, Mullagh.

Tavey (Newry) April 2nd, 2022. Peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital with family by his side. Peter, “Drumoyne” 49 Dublin Road and formerly of Broomfield, Co Monaghan. Dearly beloved husband of Ann and cherished father of Peter, Mary and Colette and much loved brother of Thomas, Eamon and the late Ownie, Paddy, John, Brigid and Vincent.

May he Rest In Peace.

Peter's remains will repose at the Heaney Keenan Funeral Home, 53 Patrick Street, Newry, BT35 8EB on Sunday from 12 noon to 5pm for his customers and many friends to meet his family.

House strictly private for family only.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) Woods Aughnaclea, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, Saturday, April 2nd peacefully, at The Beaumont Hospital Dublin.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Maureen.

Mickey deeply regretted and remembered with love by his heart broken family, sons Gerard, Noel and Damien, daughters Maria and Regina, daughters-in-law Éadaoin, Gillian and Kelly, sons-in-law Jason and Paul, his cherished grandchildren Úna, Liam, Oran, Emma, Lauren, Lily, James, Daniel, Ella, Alex, Eve, Conor and Emily, brother James, his close cousin Frank, brother in-law Patsy, sister in-law Kathleen, Thorton family, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
