It is with regret that we note the following death in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Muriel Alice Cashell (Neé Harrison)

Balbriggan, formerly of The Glen, Rockcorry, Co Monaghan

Peacefully at Beaumont Hospital on 5th April in her 94th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie and her twelve siblings. Wonderful Mum to Robert and Alan. Sadly missed by her daughters in law Audrey and Susan, grandchildren, Anna, Hugh, Ben, Sophie, Karen and Stephen, her five great grandchildren, grandsons in law Simon & Tom, granddaughter in law Emma and Hugh’s partner Deirdre, sister in law Mavis, her many nieces and nephews, the wider family circle and friends.

Reposing in McNallys Funeral Home, Balbriggan on Friday 8th of April from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning 9th April to St. George's Church of Ireland, Balbriggan arriving for funeral service at 12 noon. Followed by burial in St Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Christian Aid or Balbriggan Meals on Wheels.

The family have requested that Covid-19 face masks be worn in indoor settings.

Frank Hamilton

Tonyscallon, Doohamlet, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan

Tuesday April 5th. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, wife Margaret, son Francis, daughters Amanda and Caroline and their partners Tara, Barry and Martin, his cherished grandchildren, Shauna, Killian, Katelyn, Khloe, Layla, Rhea and Aoibheann, sister Christine West, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Frank will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Ballybay, Friday April 8th, from 3pm until 8pm. Frank’s funeral cortège will travel from his home on Saturday morning at 10:40am to arrive at All Saints Church, Doohamlet for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
