Bernadette Shannon (nee McGovern) Clonosey, Belturbet, Co.Cavan. Monday April 11th 2022 peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Jim Shannon and devoted mother of Stephen, Seamus, Bernadette, Liam, Francis, Camilla and Joanne. Bernadette will be very sadly missed by her loving family, daughters in law Elizabeth, Eilish, and Pauline, sons in law Mark, Evan and Felix, her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Vera O’Connor, Lisnaskea, nephews, nieces, all her relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Peggy, sister Bridie, brothers Peter, Teddy and Michael and his beloved granddaughter Michaela. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and best friend Philomena (nee Smith), his cherished children, John (West Sussex, UK.) David (Surrey, U.K.) and Carole Mulcahy, Mullaghland, Mullagh, his brother Phil, grandchildren Yasmin, Lauren, Joseph, Ben, Nathaniel, Imogen, Charlie, Peter and Riley, great grandchildren Larna and Archer. Daughter in law, Torill, son in law John, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at home privately with his family. Requiem funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am in St. Kilian's Church, Mullagh, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Audrey Palmer, Gardiner Street, Dublin and Aughagoldrick, Stradone, Co Cavan, Friday, April 1st, suddenly.

Predeceased by her son Christopher and mother Breda. Deeply regretted by her loving father Eddie, daughter Danielle, brother Andrew, sister Lyndsey, her partner Damien, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Reposing at the family home in Aughagoldrick, tomorrow Monday from 4pm - 6pm. Removal on Tuesday to arrive at Lakeland's Crematorium for Funeral Service at 11am, followed by cremation.

Brenda Turner (née Moffett)

Moneycass, Tullyco, Cootehill, Cavan

Brenda Turner nee Moffett, Moneycass, Tullyco, Cootehill, Co. Cavan passed away peacefully Sunday 10th April 2022 surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of the late Victor.

Dearly missed by her daughters Linda Bulter (Roy), Helen Coffey (David), Diane McConnell (Paul), Wanda O'Neill (Patsy), Glenda Sher (Brad), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Trevor and Ken, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Resting at Finnegan's Funeral Home, Dublin Rd., Cavan on Monday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Walk through only, wear masks and no hand shaking please. House private to family only please.

Funeral leaving the family home on Tuesday at 1.30pm, arriving at Laragh Parish Church for funeral service at 2pm, burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please.

Ardagh, Longford / Emyvale, Monaghan

Peacefully, at the Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by her loving family after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her husband Gerry, her sister Bridie, her brother Benny and her great- granddaughter Alison. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Anne Cooney (Athlone), Niall (Donegal), Pauline Belton (Longford), Gerard (London), Claire (Longford), Barry (Donegal) and Liam (Athlone), her sisters Cissie and Nancy (Emyvale), Susan and Roisin (Dublin), her brothers Eamonn (Dublin), Sean (Roscommon) and Pat (Emyvale), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, many relatives and friends.

Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford (N39 XE92), on Monday from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday to St. Brigid's Church, Ardagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family homes private please.

Mary Frances Perretta (née Macklin)

Formerly Canal Street and Ballinode, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mary Frances Perretta nee Macklin of Southgate London, formerly of Canal Street, Monaghan, and Ballinode County Monaghan. Peacefully at home with her family after a long illness. Wife of Remo, mother to Cara and Julian.

She was the daughter of the late Kevin and Margaret Macklin of Ballinode and sister of Kevin and Nuala.

Funeral arrangements and interment will take place with her family in London. Anyone wishing to leave a message of sympathy may do so below in the Condolence Book.
