The perfect outfit right Off the Rack

Off the Rack’s reputation for stylish, quality outfits will be further enhanced this weekend as the Cootehill store is set to feature on Ireland AM.

The popular Virgin Media One show is one of the premier programmes for showcasing on-trend, High Street outfits.

Stylist Rebecca Rose will visit the Cootehill outlet this week to select a range of clothes and accessories to suit her models. The Monaghan fashionista will then present the outfits with weekend presenters Elaine Crowley and Simon Delaney, explaining why they work and detail prices.

“I’ve worked with the stylist and been on the show a couple of times before. Every so often they ring us up and see if we want to showcase our latest outfits,” says Off The Rack proprietor Lisa Pepper.

With new items added to their stock on a weekly basis, the TV show can depend on Off The Rack to help achieve the latest looks. Lisa agrees that appearing on the show, and gaining a national platform is quite the coup.

“It’s great,” she enthuses of the up-coming show. “You are getting a wider audience. And, because we have the website, we can ship out across the world.”

Appearances on Ireland AM invariably translate into a surge in web-clicks and purchases.

“We would be very busy after appearing on the show, and would have customers from all over Ireland,” says Lisa.

“To appear on Ireland AM at this time of the year is great because we are busy with occasions – weddings, communions and confirmations, so it’s another way to highlight the clothes we stock at a good price range.”

Off The Rack offer a delightful range of occasion wear to suit all ages, shapes, sizes and budgets.

“We don’t carry bridal wear but we stock pretty much everything else,” explains Lisa.

“We also stock casual wear, footwear and jewellery, so it’s a one-stop shop where you can pick up everything.”

While Lisa values her popular website, she values the opportunity to meet her customers in person when possible.

“Our base is our shop and I always say to come in and try things on. We are always here to help people choose an outfit that suits them right because at the end of the day we want the customer to look and feel good - that’s key for us.”
